    What a match!

Another SFD for me, spent the day putting songs onto a shuffle for my mum and then watching tennis :)

Also worked out i need to save £120 for my holiday spends in Sept - going to attempt to get through cashback and e8ay sales. Shouldnt be too hard, should it?!

    Greetings one and all..

I am sat in a tremendously air conditioned office until 2300 having trudged here in 30C heat and sweating like a pig. I honestly can't take it when it's this hot unless I'm stripped down and lying spreadeagle on the lawn...

Morrisons trip today first thing this morning - £30 later I have foodage for the week... GOOOD GRIEF WHY ARE VEGETABLES SO EXPENSIVE!!! I can see now why we are a nation of fast foodies catching up on the Americans... it's just horrific! I didn't actually buy anything fan-dabby-dosey either.... oil replacd as I used the LLL's.. tins of toms... apples, spinach, lentils, bananas (ok I got 12 ) but seriously....

Rant aside I forgot a cucumber.....hummmph! And did I mention it was really hot today - even puddy-tat has taken to sleeping on the floor...

So Murray finally won Wimbledon. Very well done too ... see you can do anything if you put your mind to it peoples....

Happy well done on getting rid of that catalogue.... I amsure there are other achievements I have missed from other folk.. having promised to read the posts I have been waylaid in trying to stay cool and not melt.....

So home by at least midnight tonight and back up at 0500 sees me needing a shower, hair in rollers ( SEXY ME!) and lunch to be prepared before bed... great... another 3 hours sleep then eh...

But I shall be baking tomorrow..... quite literally in the garden... and the cooking version too. Need some banananannana muffins :p and some bread rolls to tide me over at work when I get the attack of the nibbles and eat bad stuff...

    Onwards and Upwards we plod....:T:T:T

It does mean that I don't know what my costs are going to be over the next few weeks in terms of fuel/pet sitting etc, plus I might need to buy a couple of working wardrobe bits as I haven't done smart officewear for years. So while I'm going to keep my food spends down to my £50 limit, the rest of the challenge will be a bit tricky. I'm travelling a bit and it will be the same next month

You are not allowed to bow out... :p. Stick with us please and keep us updated - you can still get an SFD here and there. Buy carefully - you need a good pair of black trousers...(topshop wide leg are a fave of mine).. one good white shirt (M&S if you can afford it), one skirt and a cardy (primark) and you are set to add a few t-shirts into the equation. Keep it simple. There is a girl in my office who's entire wardrobe is black, white or grey - she has an easy life with choosing in the morning but hates wearing colours...

Anyway I digress.... stick with us.. thats all i have to say. And CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Shocking £72 spent in the supermarket, we have a huge list and a well stocked fridge but I'm still confused how we managed to spend so much. We came away with 3 really huge bags worth of food though and lots of yummy fruit. We're going to be making smoothies this week :D

SEE WHAT I MEAN! You want to be healthy AND save money it's so hard. Smoothies would be excellent for nutrients for you and baby. You can pack so much in there and the blending/grinding breaks it down so the body absorbs it much quicker and easier without wastage.. but I only bough leaves and broccoli - hardly and fruit this time and still it's so expensive... well at least when I am destitute on the side of the road somewhere I will have a fantastic immune system...:rotfl:
