  • You have no idea to what level I am qualified. But it is obvious from your posts that you are not.

So as you are just trolling, I am not going to respond to any more of your childish posts.

I can assure you that I am better qualified and as yet you've not provided any evidence you are.

This entire thread has culminated in 3 pages of "my epeen is bigger than yours, but i'm not going to prove it".

So in a attempt to bring this thread on track, here's something MUCH more relevant to the original post.....

I know, it has become very tedious. I have made statements based on fact, and that those who are also blue light trained have backed me up on. But unfortunately as in all forums, you do get trolls who will just argue for the sake of arguing.

In hindsight I should have stopped feeding the trolls a long time ago, but I did give them the benefit of the doubt, just thinking that they were ill informed.

I'm actually starting to think that kronks is back.

It's you who are ill informed.

Nowhere have you backed up your claims which are contrary to the motorway manual.

Or in the case of a police officer, give directions to the driver to move.

Or state that, looking in your mirror you saw the Police driver wave to indicate passage, or at least that was what you thought his hand movement indicated.

Many people now say they will not move into a bus lane for an emergency vehicle under any circumstances.

I won't (not until they change the law) and I've been in this sort of situation.

I was at the High Wycombe M40 roundabout at the front of the lights, when a police car pulled up behind me with blues and twos on.

My view was, why should I break the law and go through a red light and risk prosecution, why should I risk having an accident that would undoubtedly be my fault for jumping the lights. Why didn't one of the two officers jump out the car and legally order me to proceed through the lights?

I sat there for about a minute until the lights changed, and they kept the lights and sirens on for the whole time, I don't know what they expected me to do, break the law, I know a minute doesn't sound a long time, but it is an eternity with a police car right behind you with everything going.

If they don't like being held up, they should either get out of the car or complain to their superiors to get the law changed.

The problem isn't the law, the problem is the "tick box" administration at the local councils....... It's "did the car go in the bus lane yes/no", I strongly doubt there's a box that says "were there any mitigating circumstances? yes/no". It rules drawn up by idiots who simply don't take into account what happens in the real world.

They didn't expect you to do anything, certainly not break the law. As you say, if they had wanted you to move they would have directed you to do so.
