Which ones?
You're approaching a scene and the motorway is slowing to 40-mph. So they advise you get onto the hardshoulder and drive at 30-mph. Now that's not making progress is it?0 -

Don't be pedantic!
Obviously it's when the traffic is stationary, or almost stationary. If you had ever driven down a hard shoulder on the blues, then you would know exactly what I mean.0 -

So where do you get the 30 mph from?
Do tell because it's not from the police, you sound more like a hato or st johns.0 -

No it's not hato or st johns.
hato aren't even blue light drivers.
Just because you have read procedures for one emergency service in one county, it doesn't mean that you know about all of them.0 -

I can, but I won't because who I work for is none of your business. At the end of the day it isn't really that relevant to this thread who recommends 30mph.0 -
Lets be honest, if people do think the right thing to do is pull in to the bus lane, then emergency vehicles will not be able to use them because some chump will pull in hearing the siren and block it.
Hence the need for education and enforcement of those who chose to ignore it.Be happy...;)0 -
