  • Wow Claire that's an amazing thing you DH has done well done him.

I'm tired just thinking of exercise (pre pregnancy), I do admire people who are fit, maybe one day I will be more active.......

Just home from a lovely meal out with my friends, had issues in the toilets thou....the way the door closed and where the tissue holder was meant I had to straggle the toilet to close the door as my bump was in the way!! When my friend went she struggled too and she is only a size 12 and not pregnant, surely that ain't right? Made us all laugh anyway! My friend has sent me home with more hand me downs to sort out tomorrow, this baby has more clothes than me now!

If for whatever reason Mum cannot give skin to skin when baby is born, it's a good idea for Dad to whip his top off apparently so baby still has the comfort it needs, and can start bonding with parents.

DH bought a shirt with poppers rather than buttons for when DD was born, he kind of tucked her inside and then redid the poppers around her back so he didn't have to sit on the ward with his top off! I felt quite emotional repacking it in the hospital bag this time. In some ways he got more cuddles, and more time with a peaceful sleeping babe, than I did in the early days of bf'ing as whenever I held her she just wanted milk! MrsBunny have you seen if there are any Wowcher or Groupon offers in your area, for 3D/4D scans? We got ours for <£30.

Rummer hope you are putting your feet up and relaxing this weekend. Big hugs to you x

Yay one of DHs clients is selling us 2 easy bases and a maxi cosi cabrio fix (and we can trust her it's not been in an accident) for £50!

So can give one base for my mums car, give her the car seat, and then we'll buy ourselves a new car seat.

If it's a little dirty just found a pink cover on amazon for £20 so can always get that!

Afternoon all, the girls came over from Cardiff last night and threw me a surprise baby shower I was so touched as I didn't think I'd get one having moved away and I don't really know anyone very well. I've got some gorgeous little outfits for baby and a beautiful blanket hand-crocheted by one of our friends. I've just re-woken up after going out for breakfast as I needed to sleep after they went home this morning. We were up until about 1am! they stayed up even later than that as my OH and one of the girls OH's were up drinking whiskey together!I've been getting some stronger BH recently, but I still don't think this little one is ready to come anytime soon. We met the first of the NCT groups baby's yesterday, I can't believe how small he is even for a 6lb 13 baby. I was asked if I wanted to hold him, but there's something in my head that is refusing to hold other peoples baby's (weird I know) until I've got my own one. I normally love holding baby's too!!!
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend and bumps are behaving xx

    Welcome Con!

Well, I am having a very weepy and annoyed-at-DH day... I'm not sure if this is because I'm hormonal or because I really have married the most annoying man in the world :rotfl:

The house is an absolute tip because I've been having non-stop BH which are giving me pains in my hips too, so feeling very sorry for myself and trying to communicate through a death-stare that I would like for DH to help rather than spend all day playing GTA5.

Nearly went to the hospital last night as I was in so much pain, but the pains aren't regular and I expect they'd just roll their eyes and send me home again so it seems like a bit of a waste of everyone's time. Was really looking forward to spending some quality time with DH this weekend, but it's just not worked out that way.

Oh well, time to stop being a misery guts... will read back now but hope everyone's well

    Amy xx

I'm finally starting to feel good, felt awful the first few months. I am now worrying about the silliest things like will my belly button pop out ? I don't want it to lol. Such a stupid thought when there is a lot more scarier things ahead of me !!!

Hi guys, hope you don't mind me joining you - just moving up from the 12-24 thread. :)

Bit nervous about being on the 'big thread' makes it seem like time has gone quickly now!
