Instead of me posting the list again, will you take Lily off the top list Squirrel?
Had a weird dream last night that the MW showed me how to rub my tummy in a certain way to move skin and fat out of the way so baby could poke his hand out through a really thin bit of skin so I could hold it! Was really freaky!
Thanks Birdie will do it when I get home. Bound to get it wrong on my phone x0 -
Hi all
Just popping in before MW appointment. Thought I would pop home first and walk to doctors (5 mins max at waddle pace). Pop home to use toilet and see what post has arrived and now it starts chucking it down...it was lovely and sunny 5 mins ago. It has 5 minutes to clear up before I need to leave - just typical really. Trying not to be lazy at the moment, I might as well give up!! On the hunt for a brolly now.......

So, I have me a baby :j :j :j
Aliona Belle was born 3/12 at 22.22 and she weighs 8lb 8.5oz of perfection :happyhear
20 hour labour in the end with a dramatic end. Contractions were irregular but *really* hurting. Was getting clusters of 3 every minute and then a gap before another cluster. They didn't want to transfer me to delivery or examine despite me saying I had pressure with the contractions. I asked them to take the propess (removable pessary) out and after I'd struggled to get on the bed they took it out, found I was 6cm but then with the next contraction I needed to push - so they were wheeling me holby city style up to delivery! Nearly had her in the lift!! Pushing was just 7 mins and I got me another 3rd degree tearwasn't as severe as last time tho as I controlled the pushing much better despite the intensity! So I did the whole back to back labour with a couple of paracetamol amnd literally about 10 puffs of gas and air.
Aliona is beautiful, and looks really similar to DD1  we're doing well so far and I've been up n about for a bath so I feel sooo much better. Just waiting dor DH to arrive with DD1 so I can introduce the sisters - am so giddy!
Congratulations to lily. So happy for you. :j hope ice, lola n finch have good news soon.

Gosh, that's the first birthstory I've read this pregnancy. Makes it all seem a bit more real again. The birth seems so far away to begin with.Mortgage when started: £330,995
