Me either, I didn't even make the top 10 last time before queue jumping.
Though I'm feeling it this time, it's far too bl**dy hot to be this pregnant.

    Congratulations mini muffin!

Woke up at 2am with horrendous heartburn, that combined with being way too warm meant i was awake for a good hour and a half. Felt like no time at all until the alarm went off this morning :( Been a rubbish day at work aswell and its only lunchtime. Roll on 6.30 to get out of here!

    Afternoon all!

Huge congrats mini, hope you and the baby are well :)

Was at a wedding on Saturday, thought I'd wear wedges instead of heels. I fell over. Outside the church. Surrounded by people. Baby & I are absolutely fine other than a skint knee and (severely!) dented pride!

Had our 2nd anti natal class this morning which was all about feeding - slightly concerned now. I'm due to go back to college 2 evenings per week pretty much as soon as tiny is born (obviously if I miss a few classes, I miss a few classes!) and we were planning to BF throughout the day and then I'll express into a bottle for OH to feed if I'm out at college. MW today mentioned that this could confuse baby between bottle and breast so I'm not sure what to do now!

Also our first anniversary today! OH got me a lovely necklace I've had earmarked for a while. He apologised that it wasn't much but there's not really much he can buy me at the moment! Usually shoes, clothes or a handbag would be on the cards but what's the point when I'm wearing maxi dresses, flip flops and will soon be carrying a nappy bag! Bless :)

Thanks for all the congrats, baby is called luke. I lost a lot of.blood so.feeling very weak, coupled with no sleep at night as little man sleeps all day but screeches at night! Dida, thats so strange that our lo births were similar, i dont mean to copy yiu but the piles i had before are a million times worse now! i was pleased that i was in the midwife led unit as had used the pool but hours later there was no sign of him and they realised that his head wasnt in the right position so forceps it was, better recovery that a section i suppose. Good luck for your sweep nikki, my 2nd one last week seemed tkick things off for me.

Claree_x, just do what works for you! I express fed both of my girls and it worked very well for us but I got the impression from HV and MW that they saw it as a novelty that wouldn't last.

    Congratulations minimuffin!

Granny's appointment went well, its a slow growing cancer so they are going to give her a mastectomy but want to have her reviewed by anaesthetics to make sure she is up to it. Came away feeling very positive and very impressed by the breast team. Next stop is her preassessment, hopefully my younger aunt will be able to go with her (she's at home with broken foot at the mo) as I should be very busy by then.

Have another appointment with ante natal clinic tomorrow, need to find out if he is still breech or not. They did say if he was that they would try turning him but I'm not very keen on that at all, I have never met anyone who has had a successful turn and it is supposed to hurt like hell so I'll be politely declining that and telling them to go for the sunroof option. But keeping everything crossed that he has decided to head towards the exit by himself and I can deliver him myself!

Awww bless ya Minimuffin - I really do feel for you (it all happened after my 2nd sweep too!) - but phone the docs and get some internal and external pile anusol - it really helped for me - plus I also got a bottle of lactulose (consume orally to make your poo softer - sorry TMI!) and some gyycerol suppositories (to make you err..."go"!). I also got the OH to go out and buy me a childrens swimming rubber ring! Don't forget the tea tree oil and arnica though also.

BUT...the good news is that I am getting much better - I can now sit on the sofa without crying in pain! (they started getting better after a week and a half) - but I did have stitches for a cut too (I don't know whether you had this!). My most prominent memory is lying legs akimbo with a feeling of being "tugged" somewhere "down below"!!! LOL! Its all been worth it though :)

Good luck Nikkiann, Lovecake and other ladies getting close! x
