Huge congratulations minimuffin! My birthday was Saturday and its usually a beautiful day. :-)

Bangton - I would love to be able to take it easy as I'm exhausted all the time. I work at least 40hour weeks then have dance / swimming clubs for dd2 plus housework/shopping etc. by the time I get in at 6pm then cook dinner and clean up, it's 8pm then time to read to her/do homework then I find I'm going to bed too - exhausted. Hubby works out of the country and has just come back after 3 months away so is now able to help but work is stupidly busy so not really feeling the pressure ease off yet! Roll on maternity leave...x

I've barely slept, I'm boiling already (I'll open the doors to freeze OH shortly once the tiddlies are dressed) My feet are still swollen from yesterday, it has gone down a little but today I shall be a Moaning Myrtle!

I have lots on today too.. not mentioning sweeping and sifting the bits out of the play sand.. and getting out Henry and bossing OH to clean up cat shpoop.

    All of which requires moving..

On a slightly more positive note I finished the 4th baby cardy last night so can now wash all the bits and boss OH to build that drawers so I can actually put it all away finally!

    Congrats minimuffin!

I've been taking it easy, as I didn't appreciate putting my back out a few weeks ago. So now on maternity leave, despite only being 29 weeks, and as long as I don't over do the house work, I'm ok. Though I can't walk the dog the moment, he's 35kg of lab crossed with something - and pulls too much on the lead, won't wear a harness and knows how to take of a halti! So DH walks him early morning before work, my dad takes him out most lunchtimes and DH does the evening walks. We stick to playing hide n seek with a tennis ball in the garden! So hats of to you ladies who are still working and already have little ones to chase after!

It's TOO HOT TO BE PREGNANT!

I love sunny weather but approaching 41 weeks pregnant I am so uncomfortable!

Can't sleep at all despite having windows open and fans on

I have a fresh pineapple at the ready and have been for a walk everyday for the past 5 but nothing is making him move, have got no twinges at all :(

    MW tomorrow for a sweep

  • TTC - sorry about that: I thought if their range went up past JJ cups then they'd probably have something for everyone! Will check out that other place you mentioned though.

Fluffysox that's a great idea about baby friendly cinema showings - I will see if there's anything like that around here!

I also managed to sort out an Isofix base for the car seat! I popped into the Mamas & Papas outlet but they were doing them full price (£110 - and you couldn't get the online offer of an e-voucher), so decided to pass. When I was home again I googled the make and model and saw that Boots do the same one for £99, but better yet they were doing 15% off when you spend over £80 on baby stuff. My total spend was £84.15 and I also got the best part of a tenner's worth of advantage card points, so am much happier (and OH is pleased as it arrived the next day, was a doddle to fit into the car and it's easy to snap the seat in and out of).

Can't believe that me and Anderson8 are next up after the boldies!!

You need to exercise to tone the tummy muscles all this does is squash them.. like support knickers.. complete waste of time.. the minute you take them off your lazy tummy muscles just flop again.

Apparently it helps bring the tummy muscles together as when they stretch there is a hole in the center which this apparently bring back together so when you exercise it helps firm them up quicker. It's just I never managed to sort my tummy out after DD2 but did with DD1. I'm not expecting to go back to washboard abs again but close would be nice :D
