Haha yes she is a good babysitter and at the moment, doesn't have much of a social life in the evening. She's 5'8" already though and looks same age as I did (20), when I had her so I've told her she can't push little man in pram with me or I'll look like the Nan! Lol. I've made her watch midwives etc with me and she finds it totally disgusting so im hoping it'll be a good decade before I'm a nan.:rotfl:

Re: cleaning him, I'm still not sure if I'm supposed to move it or anything - some people say yes, some say no. I've heard putting a muslin over it can prevent him spraying me? I've changed my nephew before when he had wet ones but just kind of 'dusted' him over with a wet wipe. X

Hugs Angel, not long for you now though xxRe: your DD2's IBS...I too have IBS, I've had to cut down on the amount of white products I have and switch to wholegrain, the difference has been amazing so might be worth trying if you haven't already. I've also found another trigger food of mine is potatos unless properly cooked and fatty meats. Which explains why when I was living in Reading a few years ago trying to be MSE on the food shop, I'd end up doubled over in agony every morning after eating a shepherds or cottage pie. The only time I seem to get episodes now is when I eat potatos or too much dairy.

AFM - we're off for our penultimate hypnobirthing session tonight. We have to bring our fears with us, although I don't really have any now as OH and I talked all of them through yesterday. The only one we both have remaining is my sister, and there's not really a lot we can do about her. Really enjoying the sessions though and learnt quite a bit.

Have bags just about ready but am worried I've packed too much stuff! I'm prepared to have to stay in hosp in case induction takes a while or any complications arise from my diabetes. I have a little wheelie case (hand luggage size) for me plus one for baby which I'll leave in the car til needed then I've packed a few essentials for baby in my changing bag. I'll be like buckaroo!!

Know the feeling. I've got a holdall for me, changing bag for baby (immediate needs) & then a holdall for baby with stuff for a couple of days. The second holdall will be left in the car, along with a pillow (if I remember to take it). LOL at Buckaroo!

Re: sept/Oct babies - we ovulated early Feb and happened to coincide with hubby flying back home after being away for 4wks. What can I say? We missed each other. ;) Defo not a Xmas/New Year baby as had an awful time then.

Feb 4th here :rotfl:and who said TTC had to be planned!

Ahh I'm number 10 on the list! Eeek!

I know this has prob been asked before but does anyone know a decent shop (ideally online) where I can buy a nice black underwired nursing bra in a large size (G cup) that doesn't cost the earth??! I'm getting V frustrated searching!

Nursing bras in large sizes aren't easy to find - as you now know.

I have bought a couple of these & although not underwired, they do give reasonable support. They are exceptionally comfy. I just hope they still fit when my milk comes in. They are dispatched 1st class on the day of order.

    http://www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/ShowDetails.asp?id=118

Your choice will depend on your back size, the site does have a wide selection of bras - although not cheap.

    I joined the list at 49 - now 12.

In respect of what the hospital provide, I have asked about milk in case I can't breast feed & have been told this will be provided. I have packed a swaddle blanket, cellular blanket, nappies, cotton wool, wipes, baby gros, cardi although no-one has actually told me what I need (& I haven't asked).

I must admit that I assumed blankets for baby would be provided in hospital.

I am 22 + 4 and I have packed my hospital bag as I have already spent some time in hospital and I find it reassuring to have everything packed and ready. Nearer the time I will add baby bits and some extra clothes for me incase I am in for longer than I hope to be.

Thanks for the hugs Kerri - life can be carp sometimes. DD2 has the opposite kind of IBS - she is only allowed 1 piece of fruit a day and no squash/juice or she gets really agonising tummy ache, fever, D & vomiting and goes floppy. It's awful to see her like that but I control it and school etc are well informed. Unfortunately MIL doesn't believe that fruit can be bad for a child so used to feed dd a wide variety in one sitting (dd loves fruit!), after this happened twice and dd really ill both times, I stopped paying her to childmind! Our hospital said that they provided blankets etc. when the baby was in hospital but we should bring our own for taking the baby home in. Obviously looked like I was going to swipe their stock...
  • Evening all. Still in hospital, but should be allowed home tomorrow. Standard is 2 nights following a c section, it will be 3 in total for me but thats because i had to stay in anyway with being induced.

Here is a picture of our little girl, who we've named Scarlett.

    Take care.

    Congrats Continual -she looks lovely
  • Lovely pic Continual.

Last pregnancy I packed a hospital bag before TTC in case of hospital admissions which I ended up using around 27 weeks. I then unpacked it into different bags so that it was ready for my homebirth but handy in case of transfer.
