    Congrats lao_cat!!
Lobey, my baby has quiet days and active days (36 weeks today). I mentioned it to my midwife last time, and she said as long as I feel 10-15 movements on a quiet day, not to worry. On an active day, I can feel 10-15 movements in a matter of minutes lol! I've found it goes in cycles, a few quiet days then a few active days. Also if I'm busy I tend not to notice movement so much, and (sorry if tmi) if I get constipated, movements seem less. So if bump has a few quiet days, i try to make sure i have a day of resting. But if you are worried at all, get it checked out.

Same here - I usually experience a couple of days with loads of crazy movement, then a couple with less movement, and repeat.
I put it down to baby's position, growth spurts and whether I'm having a busy/lazy day. If I felt nothing all morning, or all afternoon, then I'd worry and call I think.

If anyone is looking for a car seat base for their Maxi-Cosi, the Easybase 2 has just been reduced to £53 on Amazon. I've had it sat in my basket for ages waiting for it to reduce, so grabbed it quick today.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxi-Cosi-EasyBase-Car-Seat-Base/dp/B002S52XK0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377200017&sr=8-1&keywords=maxi+cosi+easybase2

This is the non isofix base. the base is secured with the seat belt.

Don't forget that Kiddicare price-match Amazon! You'll get it at the lower price PLUS you get 25% of the difference off too! :money:

Seems to be the same for me bride to be. Was just getting used to the large shifting movements and have counted 5 smaller bursts today so think all is fine. I'm prone to worrying so I may call for reassurance anyway but hopefully it's just being a sleepyhead!

  • Well I must say I am impressed with mothercare delivery service.

My pram was delivered at 8:30 am.

Only got up cos hubby left for work at 7 am and thought I better get up in case the pram is delivered early. However I had prepared my day with jobs to do/recording TV shows in the week as delivery times are 9am - 5pm and thought more than likely I'll get the pram right at the end of the day.

Want to see what it's like, but the box is huge and I don't fancy trying to get everything out myself. The weekend is going to consist of many many practice attempts at fastening the car seat into my car, hahaha.

    Congratulations Laocat! x

Have fun with the pram/ car seat Continual! Our first one went to my mums initially when I was pregnant (she's very superstitious so wouldn't let us keep it in the house) I loved going there to play with it LOL! x

Lobey worth phoning your MW if you're concerned. I normally find icecream/ coke or a bath wakes up bubs. She seems to have a quiet day then make up for it by wriggling all night. x

I was going through baby's things last night and realised there seems to be a sheep theme LOL! I ordered a few bits reduced in the next sale so she has got a knitted sheep blanket, sheep sleepsuits, sheep outfits and now Ewan the Sheep!! I'm trying to decide on wall stickers as I would like to order them soon. I think there will be a lot of nurseries with the same woodland theme!
