AFM still having some mild cramps in and off but no sign if things intensifying thing the baby is waiting for the roofers to finish work lol, due date tomorrow and check up this evening so hopefully all will go according to plan. Ideally I would like to go naturally and stay home as long as possible but I guess it depends on the baby's plans!

Re. names - we haven't told anyone in our families our top 5 names. It's really hard to choose a name that goes with our surname and that we both agree on, so I can't be doing with other people's opinions trying to influence our decision too! Baby will be called what we want to call it!

People started asking me if we had any baby names a few months in to my pregnancy.... I had a few in mind but the looks I got.. I stopped saying them and said we will decide when baby is here!!! The name is not going to be normal anyway as mine is isn't, so I dont really know why people would expect anything different!!! I put a list together on holiday... but lost the enthusiam for it when I saw peoples reactions!!! The OH said yesterday morning we should start thinking about names... I said we have six weeks to register the birth and can change it within the first year... and I would rather wait for the baby to be here to decide as if we make a decision it may not be right for the baby!!!

Bean seems to moving a lot and it is getting very uncomfortable!!!

Wedding tomorrow to look foward to, be lovely to catch up with all my friends who are spread all over the country!!! Need to do my legs... Thats going to be fun!!!

Urgh, OH wants Vincent as bubs middle name He has it, his dad has it, his grandad has it and after finding out why everyones middle name is Vincent (apparently grandad loved his mummy so took her last name as his middle name) But I really don't like it. He's already said he wants his grandad who died (R.I.P) middle name somewhere in his name, It's a nice name, and is currently set as his first name, but I keep wavering as we all do. :rotfl: But that means he will have chosen the WHOLE name

The reason I'm not happy about the Vincent name carrying on is his family is only interested in us when they want something or want something fixed, his mother is a right cow to me with her replies but acts sweet and innocent.

BUT CAN I THINK OF A MIDDLE NAME I LIKE?!?!?! Hell no :rotfl:

haven't been on here in ages as i've been so tired!
TMI but i've gone from one backdoor toilet every 2 days (normal for me) to 3 a day, and a LOT of weeing, also shooting pains in the belly... not sure if these are VERY early signs? Anyone had similar to this? Only had 2 hours sleep due to heartburn and having whooping cough injection yesterday (very very late) so couldn't lay on my arm or get confortable...

Cant believe how soon some of u are to having your babies!! We could be about 4 places down the list after the weekend!!
Eek!! I seemed to be 23rd in the list for a long time, and over the next couple of days i'll be down into the top 10!!

I think that may mean I have to get the hospital bag ready!!! Washed the baby stuff and moses sheets... so hanging up all over the house.... they are so small!!! I think only Arnica Tablets to get and pick up a package from the post office... which I think is the tens machine!!!

I think its becoming obvious to me what a lot of people have said to me..... I am little too laid back!!!

Have a wonderful weekend every one and hopefully some of us will be in the top ten!!!!

When I've gone into labour in the past I found for a couple of days before I became rather, ahem, loose. I think that's why they don't give enemas anymore as your body seems to do it naturally.


I think also the bigger baby gets the more they squash your insides so that probably doesn't help either!

Well I've been consultant today booked my c section for 10th sept eek midwife measured me at 36 and said felt like a big baby doc at 32 so having a scan 28th August to check size. Anyways very excited

Oh and my pram has arrived woo

I've always refused point blank to put any names linked to family in there, even though I think it was expected from OH family as they have all seemed to do that.


I just think it gets silly. OH has got two middle names which appear to have been 'thrown in there' just because they are his dads middle name and his maternal grandfathers name. They don't particularly go well and OH doesn't like them at all.


Of course if its a name you actually like its a different story.


The girls middle name that I like is my grandmothers name, and I don't like it because its my grandmothers name, it's just a name I've always liked, and goes well with the first names we have picked. Problem is, it will probably cause other family members to moan because they will think I've chosen the name to 'honour' my nan. I am close to her but like I say I'm not into choosing names on the basis of them being family members names. I just can't think of any other middle name I like as much!
