Congrats KandFs mam! Love both of those names.

BeNice I stopped my lunch time gym sessions about 2 weeks ago (29 weeks) when my gym membership ran out. I'm now doing swimming and yoga once a week and my 20/30 min Pilates DVD twice a week. I think you just have to go with what you're feeling and if you're exhausted there's no point pushing through or you'll feel it for day's after.

Regarding the arnica tablets, is it ok to take these when BF?

Good luck for tomorrow Claree xx

Courgette, I would wait until baby boy is here then decide his name. My family hated my sons name as although it isn't that obscure its not traditional enough for my parents. For months they referred to him as 'baby' but then they started using his name much more and even admit it suits him and they respect our choice now. With baby girl we aren't telling family names we are considering, we will just chose what we want, and won't change it based on their opinion xx

My 'boy bump' was tiny and almost flat if that makes sense. This time my bump is very rounded and noticeable!

Thanks for the wishes everyone - same to baleb who's booked in to be induced as well!

Spent the last however long telling people I'm not nervous cause there's no point, I'm gonna have to do it anyway, but tonight I'm terrified. It's just such a lot of responsibility to safely get a tiny person here and a lot of it is outwith my control.

Chances are she won't be here till Saturday but I'll keep you all updated :)
  • Good luck for tomorrow Claree and Bangton.

    Congrats kandf! Beautiful names.

Re:names. I got fed up of everyone telling me their sons/dads/partners/lovers-dogs-brothers-owners name like I should choose them. Someone even suggested Wolfcub! I also got really fed up of people slating names I did quite like. So we decided to pick a random name that isn't on our 'maybe' list and tell people he is called that. So bump is called Herbie - it goes with our surname lol. Tbh it's quite funny when people start telling me we should call him 'whatever name they like' to reply back with: "we've decided to call him Herbert, Herbie for short". I giggle inside while they frantically try and tell me they like it lol. They soon change the subject. Really though, we have 5 or 6 'maybe's' and will decide which name suits him when he's here. :-)

Good luck Claree and baleb! I was induced with DS2 and although it took quite a while to actually bring labour on (about 36 hours) once we got going it was easy peasy, all done and dusted in 90 minutes with only paracetamol as pain relief. If you can, try to enjoy it - you're about to become mummies!!!

    Congratulations kandf! Lovely name too.

Good luck today Clare and baleb, hope we will hear more lovely baby news soon!!

My contractions stopped yesterday and I started to feel a lot better, so looks like a false alarm! Saw the midwife, baby is turned the current way now (was back to back a couple of weeks ago) and my back pains are usual as the baby is engaging.

With regards to names - we have a list of 9(!) but haven't told anyone our choices yet as don't want to be put off ay of them. I'm still so confused about how we will actually choose!! I have my favourites but keep putting myself off.

Think I'm going to finish crocheting littles ones cardigan and then I have a minx pedicure to look forward to this afternoon. Never had a pedicure before (which is odd seeing as I get facials and bikini waxes) so looking forward to being pampered!

    Hope everyoneis well :)

  • Good luck today with the inductions baleb and claree. Looking forward to birth announcements and pics :)

All I can say is TF it's Friday. I am so exhausted, been sleeping really badly and not been able to do much with DS this week so feeling really guilty about that :(

TV has been on a LOT and that makes me feel bad too.

Got a friend and her toddler popping over later, so at least he'll have a bit of company, but I do feel bad about not getting out and about.

So much for this baby making an early appearance, I have a feeling she is going to go overdue. Dreamt my contractions were starting last night, woke OH up in a panic, then realised I was dreaming..oops!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello ladies and bumps,
Been a few months since I've been on here as LO now 3.5 months old, but thought I'd pop on to let you know if you've still got hospital bags to sort out, Boots have got Bodyform towels down to £1. I used the ultra nighttime ones as maternity pads. Bought a couple of packs then the Super long ones a couple of packs of those too and they saw me right for the first days since giving birth.
