    Congrats pp!

Katie, I'm raging on your behalf!

I'm being induced next weekend (eek) and my house is still a tip. OH decided that today he'd concentrate on cutting the grass - !!!!!!?! Never mind the boxes and bags of stuff needing sorted in the house, I'm sure the baby will be very pleased that the garden looks reasonable

Plus I got a text from my aunt saying they've lost part of the moses basket they were giving me. Thankfully in the same text she said she'd ordered me one and I've not to argue about it and to think of my dodgy blood pressure, bless :rotfl:

Claree, how nice of your aunt to do that :) my OH is the same, chest of drawers sitting here waiting to be built, babies clothes have all been washed and dying to get them all organised. DH would rather faff around doing other stuff... Hoping to spur him on to get it done this week!!

Just popping in to say congratulations pigpen - glad you're both OK :)
  • Huge congratulations PigPen - she is absolutely gorgeous! And what a good weight for 4 weeks early. Hope you are both ok x

Hugs Katie. Men can be complete !!!!!!!s at times. I'm sure my hubby forgets I'm pregnant sometimes. I make him touch and talk to my belly loads just so that he doesn't forget :p

Bella - That Kato Twin looks a good price atm for brand new. No experience, but personally I'm not too keen on stroller type buggies for newborns. I know they lay flat but I do like a nice carrycot for newborns and a forward facing seat when they are out of the carrycot. Are there any others you are looking at? Some hold their price well and can sell well on eBay and the like when no longer needed. I ordered our double buggy today and plan on keeping it in good nick so that I can sell it on in a year or so and get most of my money back. I've been watching loads on eBay and mine seem to go for about £150 less than what I've just paid brand new.

Off to Kiddicare and Ikea tomorrow - should be fun! Hoping that Kiddicare have the space saver cot in store so I can buy and that's something else ticked off the list. Getting there slowly!

Thanks for your thoughts miffy I've not seen anything else really not that makes me think wow I know it has to be a side by side pram as a tandem one I just won't get it through my front door, plus I don't like prams that look like babies are Sat in the shopping basket haha. I'm going mamas and papas tomorrow hopefully they'll have the pram in store then I can try DS2 in it which is my main concern because I was all set on a lovely MacLaren until I sat him in it and it was to narrow lol xx

  • Just dipping in quickly to let you know that Eleanor Grace eventually arrived on Wednesday pm weighing 8lb 1oz. I ended up with a c section after several failed attempts at induction, and was also kept in for a few days post delivery so have only just got home today. Love her to bits but am absolutely shattered and struggling with bf (sore nips and engorgement as milk has come in).

Thanks for good wishes and smooth labour vibes to you ladies in waiting!
