    Evening all .

Just spending sone time reading back.

Those of you with toddlers, when they are being hard work do you think omg how am I going to manage this with a newborn too? My main worry is that how am I going to cope with a hyper toddler and a small baby.

Yes I worry about that too all the time! And how I'm going to manage to take him out to places like the park and keep after him when I also have a tiny baby to feed/look after!

    Good luck pigpen!

Feels like there is a limb wedged in my ribs tonight, very uncomfy.

Is it sad that i am looking forward to tomorrow so i can officially say i am 30-odd weeks pregnant rather than 20-odd? Lol

We will worry about something - I haven't got a toddler and worry how I will manage a baby!

Got a call from the GP today. My routine bloods from Monday show I am anaemic so iron tablets for me. I am already constipated (sorry TMI) & taking Benefibre regularly so am concerned the tablets will make it worse. Any tips?

TTC40, i have heard the liquid iron supplements are much better than the tablets in terms of constipation. However, i haven't actually had them myself

You can get Lactulose liquid to take every day from your doctor - it errr...*cough* makes your poo softer. I was prescribed it after birth for when I had piles and it really does help. Its nothing sinister (sugar based) and ok to take in pregnancy. You need to vary the dose to suit how err....*cough* soft you want your poo to be! (TMI I know - sorry:D!!!!)

Is it worth buying a breast pump before bean arrives? I would like to breast feed but also once established express so that hubby can feed bubs & for when i go out (not sure how i will be with breastfeeding in public!)

YES!!! It was a life saver for me - I am soooo glad I bought one before birth! You never know if BF-ing will work out for you (it didn't for me as baby was tongue-tied). I only wish I'd taken it into hospital with me for the day after birth as baby wouldn't latch and I had to resort to formula.

I had a Ameda Lactaline - in fact I have been through 2 - and both have given up on me - so don't get one of those! I now have a Tommee Tippee one and I manage to get double the amount of milk in the same time. The reviews of it are mixed on Amazon - but I have found it fab...although a bit noisy!

I'm spending a lot of the time shattered nowadays! ankles the size of footballs.

TTC I take lots of orange juice with my iron tablets which is supposed to increase iron absorption. It also helps with constipation.

Good luck on Friday PP. Hope OH makes it up to you.

TTC40 -Would Spatone be ok for the iron increase?

iceicebaby - I often have panicky thoughts about how I'm going to cope with a clingy toddler as well as a newborn. I guess we will just muddle through somehow. Also, my DD is just so loving at the moment and we have loads of cuddles and chats and I love her so so so much. I often wonder how I can love another little one as much as I do her, as daft as that sounds!

I still have quite a few muslins left over from DD and she was hardly ever sick so they didn't get much use, so I will reuse those. I do want to get a few more, but being very non MSE and getting some of the very cute Aden and Anais ones! I'll probably have a really sicky baby now and ruin them!
