I've Killed My New Laptop!

Edit: Just read your last post. You could try a restart and see if it boots into the recovery process, you never know... Apsrt from that I'm sorry but I'm out of ideas now. Unless anybody else has any ideas I think you'll have to contact Samsung and see if they can supply a set of recovery disks.0

Thanks I clicked the restart & it's just gone back to the screen I had before we started.
I have just brought it on Friday & it has a one year warranty. Would this come under the one year warranty?
Would they fix it for me?
Thanks xxxThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
Yes just the same as the first post xxxThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0

But would they not fix it as it's under warranty?

No it does not look like they will

I have brought a 3 year click & collect warranty, I brought it on Monday & it is in the post.
Will I be able to set the warranty up if I have all the SN & Model numbers on this small laptop for my Samsung that is broken then contact them for a repair or is that all so just for the hard wear & not for the soft wear?
Thanks xxxThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
No, software/user error will unfortunately not be covered under warranty. It is essentially just for wear and tear.
Giving them a call won't hurt though, they may feel generous0 -
Ok,
Thank You everyone who once again has tried to help me.
I will call Samsung & see if I get anywhere.
Otherwise I have found someone in the town nearest me. Seen their website & will give them a call tomorrow, see how much they want to repair it & make the recovery discs.

Surely if the user can't get the recovery procedure to work then there's a good chance Samsung will give some sort of support.
Perhaps the hard drive is faulty in some way and causing the problem or the recovery portion was not installed correctly. All the user needs to say is it's no longer functioning and the recovery procedure isn't working.
Definitely worth contacting them. Good luck.0
