A MW doing a 'show and tell' of contraception told the group that is quite common in larger ladies.. not that I am implying or have any idea if you are larger or not, and my friend was told things like the implant/mirena are effective longer for skinny minnies after she got pregnant with the implant.

DS2 sent to shop for milk and I forgot to ask him to get bread!! doh!.. oooh dough.. I might see if I have some yeast and make some..

I might just have to share... My baby girl is really beautiful... she has been a demon today.. but she is most wonderful..

No not really chubs but very fertile:eek:
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of my Mum passing away
Aww, these special dates can be tough. Hope your head is feeling better.
Feel like sreaming or crying or something today and defrost don't feel like doing anything other than counting down till I can have a vodka.
Have a good scream, it might help X
Also my friend I told you had the all clear has today been told she doesn't, waiting for her to call but I know from the text she has the dreaded C.
Oh holy shpoop, I'm sorry Dusty, I hope it's not as bad as you fear. X

Paid stuff finished for week. Kids still being gits although to a lesser extent, but I'm having an off day so probably feels worse than it is. No wii fit tonight, CBA, but I have spent an hour marching around earlier today.
Collected my birthday order, got some camisole/vest things for hol (size smaller:T), collected prescription, then kidbeasts. Fed and bathed them and since then I've just flopped.
My brother has sent me a £100 spa voucher! I was under the impression we'd agreed to stop presents for adults - but he doesn't seem to be in sync with me on that score. I don't get him. Last year he gave me a £4 box of chocs :rotfl: how am I supposed to keep up what what the current "expectation" is? He gets narky if he thinks he's being left out... (Living abroad and all that). Anyway, I will call him to thank him :A
So tomorrow, my baby girl will be the same age that DS was when DH died. If that makes sense. When I look at her, I can't see how on earth I could explain what I did, to a child so young. I can't remember if he was as vocal as her, if he seemed more grown up or not. I don't know how to talk to her about it :( That's why I feel off today, I think. That and the birthday thing. DS asked what cake I'm having.
    Somebody shake me!

    Hi all

Dusty I'm so very sorry to hear that your friend was misinformed. Big hugs to you. Please keep us updated and we'll do our best to support you, whilst you support her.
bossy hugs to you too. I'm not a parent but maybe it would be worth waiting for her to bring up DH and then talk to her about it?

Bossy you did it then because the choice was taken away from you. You was totally hit by your loss and the luxury of pondering how to approach it was I doubt there for you. I remember when the lovely Aand W'sMum was on the thread how difficult the day was for her when her son had been alive more days without his Dad alive than with. As ever be kind to yourself for this will surely pass like everyting does xxxx

DS3 on his mattress on the floor my side of the bed. Heading up myself soon as need to be up early for the builder and off to UCL for the day so may not have time to pop in util the evening.

Thanks, guys, as always you come up trumps. Deco, she does mention him but sometimes when she says daddy she means DS :o although now she's started saying "daddy <insert DS name>" or "another daddy" so it's got easier to work out who she means. Maybe because she won't remember him being here she won't be asking why he's not here, IYSWIM.
Dusty, you are right, it will pass - and the day in question is rarely as hard as I build it up to be beforehand X I really hope things are ok with your friend :hugs:
DS has a trip to Thomas Land with his granny soon so me n DD are having a girls weekend.

Big hugs for you Dusty, and your friend.

Just had email from my Aunt, she is coming to visit on Saturday afternoon. So I will need to be flying like a bat out of H£ll til she arrives and all young Skints will need to get their behinds into gear too......this is my OCD cleaning Aunt so expectations are high for even a "normal" person.

It is going to be a tough visit on all fronts as she doesn't know about DD2 being investigated for the Big C yet and may bring back difficult memories about her own DS who had his first bout with Big C at 19 before loosing at 25 :(, but she is best person who can understand what our household is going through right now.

Right, will cross of stuff tomorrow once a bit more has been done

Nighty night flyladies and flygents
The cold never bothered me anyway
