 Tracey 12! I meant to see if drying the cutlery up when the DW finished worked, but I got side-tracked by gibblestax. I'll see if that works on the next run, and if not, I'll track down some RinseAid. I didn't mind the splots on the cruddy old cutlery, but I really do on the new stuff. Nothing special, just new.
The first WM load is on, but I'm going to have to nip back to a neighbour's house where one of our guests was staying because I forgot to collect his towel for washing. Strange system we're running here - the lodgers have both letting rooms, so we've been parking our house guests with neighbours, colleagues and friends for a few nights. It'll get even sillier in July for several weeks.
((((Hugs)))) Mummyroysof3. And while I'm at it, for TMD, as well.Better is good enough.0 -
Did LW not say she had lodgers for a couple of weeks due to lots of people being on holiday and fewer people accepting them?
This is 1st time I've had chance to post in about a week and a half - been skim-reading to keep up, though of course nothing sticks in my colander of a brain.
Also flying by the seat of my rather scruffy pants at present, so not even that is going to plan!:D
Good news though - I'm finally RID of the voluntary paperwork!:T:T:T New [STRIKE]mug[/STRIKE] incumbent took charge of the files, plus the USB flash drive with all the stationery templates on, last Wednesday, over a drink at the Ship Ashore, so that's GONE, GONE, GONE!! :j:j:j:j(Can you tell, I wanted it gone??):D So the Bullfrog that was the task of deleting all the records off my pc has been done (data protection requires I do this asap) and I've also tidied up everything else, renamed a bunch of stuff to be more uniform and logical, cleared cache, cleared temp files, defragged, full system scan - the whole nine yards!:o
Anyways - posting may remain sporadic, though with the GP appt out of the way, hopefully I'll be a bit more settled (I get really really wound up and nervous dealing with medical bods - not for the first time, I said to Mr LW that I feel like just quitting taking all the meds and just let the disease take it's course). But anyways, don't worry about me, I'll try and get a bit more of a routine going again - at least need to get the flying back on schedule, although Mr LW did very kindly scrub the loo for me earlier.:A:A:A
Gotta go - I have a ton of stuff in my email inbox to deal with, and would like to do my Brain Training before Ted's dinner time if I can.:o
(((HUGS))), spoons, sticks, boots up the bum all in neat little piles, grab what you need.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW.. So pleased you are liberated of that paperwork.. I bet the relief was immense!!! I know you are loving all your houseguests however messy they are..
Shame you don't have monkeys as house guests.. I'd send you a couple
and a tidied PC.. excellent stuff!!
Washing finally out.. DD2 brought me another basket full down.. it really is never ending.. I'm currently trapped under a whingebot and I rescued a tiny little mouse from one of the mogs.. daft cat is still looking for it an hour later.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Back from GP's.
All previous tests normal, but previous GP didn't order full blood count or thyroid check. So back on 5th July to give up some more blood.
Aunt flo is visiting DD2 - she looks awful, can barely eat anything and is a lot of pain. She IS on the pill - I wonder if a different pill would help?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Would she consider alternative therapies? My friend is a homeopath and reports good results for cycle issues.
Would she consider something such as the implant which reduces AF to minimal levels for many people? Might be worth looking at other options for her.

I have had the Depo Provera injections and they suited me really well as I had no AF at all. I just had to go to see the nurse every 11 weeks for an injection.
I know some people do suffer some of the side effects but it may be worth looking into.
TraceyOfficially debt free :j0 -

Afternoon all
Gee it's a bad news day here. Three road accidents, one outside the school I was taking kids to rounders at, one near DS2's school so bus got stuck, my cousin's daughter was hit on a crossing earlier. Also my friend I told you had the all clear has today been told she doesn't, waiting for her to call but I know from the text she has the dreaded C.
Today is a no-fly day, actually flying is suspended here until further notice. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
