Big (((hugs))) for you and your friend, Dusty.
Nice to see you posting, LW - enjoy your furry visitors.
Well done to your DD2, Skint!
Hope you get help soon, CY.. I was told recently that I am borderline for underactive thyroid, so when we go to see the practice nurse for our new patient checkup on Monday, I must mention it and ask for a re-test.

It has been a glorious warm and sunny day here, so I have carried on with Monday's job of opening the windows and letting the summer in. It also lets in the incessant chattering of the jackdaws, but that's OK. I saw a pair of goldfinches this afternoon - great excitement!

We seem to have spent most of the day moving things to give the electrician access: our bed, lounge furniture, boxes and a carpet have been moved round the house almost hourly, but DH and I have also managed to remove another cunningly made cupboard. Tomorrow, not only do we have the electrician, but my most utterly favourite double glazing people are coming to do Phase 1 of their master plan. Bob and Mark have worked for my family for over 30 years and are simply the best workmen I know. And of course they clean up after themselves :D

Time to cook tea and eat it, and then we'll move the bed back.

    Hugs for Dusty.

I have done some jobs from yesterday's list so LR looking ok. And I sorted my underwear drawer. Must wash up the dinner things now then walk the dogs. Oh and water the plants, and put the recycling out and and and......
Spend less now, work less later.

I have had the Depo Provera injections and they suited me really well as I had no AF at all. I just had to go to see the nurse every 11 weeks for an injection.

I know some people do suffer some of the side effects but it may be worth looking into.

I got pregnant in the last few weeks of my depot! I had an appointment for the next one but felt so sick the nurse did a pregnancy test and it was positive:eek:
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

A MW doing a 'show and tell' of contraception told the group that is quite common in larger ladies.. not that I am implying or have any idea if you are larger or not, and my friend was told things like the implant/mirena are effective longer for skinny minnies after she got pregnant with the implant.

DS2 sent to shop for milk and I forgot to ask him to get bread!! doh!.. oooh dough.. I might see if I have some yeast and make some..

I might just have to share... My baby girl is really beautiful... she has been a demon today.. but she is most wonderful..

    Thanks all.

Crash near the school I was at, child slightly injured.
2nd Cousins daughter bruised and ripped jeans but ok
One near DS2 school no news but it was at the time children are about and where they (and DS3 from next year) head down to get the bus.
