Today has been mixed; I have a confirmed part-time assignment in London for July - which will easily fit in with the business and pays well :j however DS and DD are at each other's throats already and less than 24 hours in he had made her cry  an uneasy truce has descended for now... I'm not putting up with this for the next 2 months.

Ouch dusty, you need to slow down, a poorly leg and a poorly hand - someone is trying to tell you something :) xx

Hello busy granny. Keep on posting in between the tennis - and flying of course - I know I will be!

I feel a recruitment campaign coming on...

Cut the other end of the hedge, cleared up, broke a dead bit of a tree and cut that up - starting to refill the log store.

    Watered the back garden
    Chatted to neighbour opposite
    Tied up the roses
Worked out what's next for the chop.

Got a message from DS1 on FB - he's got a day off, sounds like he is making the most of his trip.

I'll do the new thread and then I need to iron for tomorrow.

  • I've not done much today in terms of flying as I have spent the day with DH and the kids. We went to the circus this afternoon using discount vouchers and then went out for dinner tonight. Not long back home so DH is getting the kids bathed and into bed then he will iron what is required for tomorrow whilst I get some rest, as lo is taking it out of me at the moment but trying to stay positive as not long to go now x

There must be something in the air. I found myself eyeing up a particularly rollable part of The Hoe this weekend. I feel something coming on - although I'll admit my second thought is 'I must wear something old and washable - all that seagull poo ....'
    Better is good enough.
