Rowan tree - great to 'see' you, I always think "Come on Tim!" when I'm watching Wimbledon  You can have a gold star too x

    /QUOTE]

Thanks for my gold star Bonnie - and I still have my silver catsuit - but what have I done this year!? (Come on Tim). I LOVE my tennis - but sob and cry - Bonnie - I have booked a mini-break and am not in the UK for the finals weekend!! I did this in January and only realised in May - and - the lovely Roger is out already (collapses in heap).

So I'm not even here and I bet Tim wins this year. So come on Tim!!

Flying-wise, we have had a good clean round yesterday after a really busy time with guests, builders and OH still undergoing investigation for his stomach pains and still not well. All washing done to date and I hope to keep straight until our holiday, have also done shopping and cleaning for sick friend. On a sad note my lovely brother, who has been ill for too many years, is really poorly, so I am hoping he can pull through.

Good wishes to all, and especially to those ill, under stress, and to any newcomers. I have had a couple of reads through and it looks like everyone has been very busy - Skint - I don't know how you do it all!

Good wishes all round - and I hope all those tennis fans are enjoying this fortnight!! Come on - Tim!!!! R x :)

    Evening all!

Lovely pic, pigpen, she looks fab!

We've been out all day :o went to a friends for brunch then another friend joined us and we went to the local summer gala. Had ice cream, kids went on a few rides and we watched the birds of prey show. Then my friend produced a birthday cake! That's the second I've had so far and it's not even my birthday yet lol. Quite a full on day, we are all tired. DD asleep on way home, so popped her on the sofa for a bit, then up to bed. She barely woke as I got her pjs on :A DS is still singing to himself and just beside himself with excitement. He's been on a fire engine today and tomorrow we're going on a steam train and he just can't wait. Bless.

So I've done naff all today other than a toy pick-up whilst we left. Did bring home more happyland stuff though - a rather cute merrygoround and a rocket.

Have the morning to catch up tomorrow with washing and other bits, before we go out then expecting family over for late afternoon tea of more birthday cake :o bl00dy hell I'm supposed to be getting weighed on Monday

    Evening all.

It's quiet on here - do people go out on Saturday nights? I remember doing so in the dim distant past :o

Tennis has taken priority today - come on Tim!! - although I have managed to move some stuff from DS's room to the landing, where it is now in the way. He has so much stuff and has the smallest room in the house! Tomorrow we are having mother/son fling-a-thon - do join us if you wish :p

As money is so tight, I keep thinking.... but we might need it / it might be useful one day / it's too good to throw away / it doesn't work but we can't afford to replace it  every time I look at something useless/unused/unloved :o I can't make up my mind if it would be better if it was just tidier or if I'm kidding myself.

Flywise I have sorted washing ready for tomorrow as it is forecast to be sunny and warm - again! - I want to get it out on the line early before the BBQs get going. I have done a little top up shop and sorted one drawer and one shelf in the living room. Oh, and I tidied my undergarments.

Rowan tree - I'm more of a Djokovic girl myself *swoons* I do hope your brother pulls through x

I never go out.. I barely go out of the house!

Just letting the tiddlers play for a bit as they have suddenly decided about 10 minutes ago they are going to play nicely together.. they have been beastly with one another today!.. I need to go get their pj's actually.

Squeaks bed has been changed again.. I am really fed up of the whole bed being wet every day!

Last 2 loads of washing just finished so I'll get some of that hung up to dry once these are in their jims..

Right.. squabbling again... time for bed!

Have done umpteen loads of washing today - now wading through the ironing.

Go out? On a Saturday night? In the dim and distant past maybe. OH has just returned from cricket - they won. He and DS have gone down the pub - peace is restored! OH put the whites in the WM before he went!

Dried washing brought in and folded
Stuff from DW taken out and washed so that I could put DW on cleaning cycle
    Bedroom dusted & hettyed

    Plants watered
Pizza dough made in BM (cut into 4, 3 in freezer, 1 decluttered for dinner ;) )
