    Morning all

Washing out on line, DW emptied and DD despatched to work. Her dad is picking her up then bringing her home to change and then she's going with him. This is excellent as I will be at the baby naming, though the baby naming ceremony is taking place within very easy walking distance of her work.

I'm still less than pleased about yesterdays' debacle; I am going to wait until I am spoken to face-to-face then I shall point out that sending a text to parents to cancel an event is NOT the same as informing staff who would not get that text (wrong group). I hope, at that point, apologies will be made.

    Unfortunately I didn't win the lottery/Euromillions.

So the first item on today's list...

[STRIKE]text boss and tell him to shove his job[/STRIKE]

    ...is deferred;)

So much to do with so little plan, feeling a tad overwhelmed by it. Can't quite decide where to start. I will put the WM on and hoover downstairs to see if making a start helps.

When I take DS3 to cricket I plan to go to the drop-in medical centre place for them to check my bite out, I don't intend to sit there for hours but as it is round the corner from cricket I may be able to sit over there until my turn if it is busy.

Hugs all round and hope everybody gets a bit of sunshine over the weekend.

  • Good afternoon everyone. I'm struggling to get motivated today however I have managed to get 2 loads in wm, 1 load in td, a meal plan sorted for July and also checked Mr A price guarantee (getting £3.50 in vouchers).

I am going to spend an hour on paperwork then make the lunch. After lunch I will get dd down for a nap whilst I do the ironing and get a quick shower.

Been to naming. Winnie the Pooh was in evidence already, on the ballooons, on the banner, on the notes we had to fill in with advice for the baby so my gift should fit right in;)
