Well.. that's enough outside for this week.. it's too hot, too bright and too many bugs..

I appear to have a large pus filled vesicle on my tonsilly .. this bodes well :( Explains why I feel so crap though.. I though it was just down to being inhabited!

    Washing caught up on.

OH got the grass minced and I pruned the trees.. they are getting out of hand again and if I chop it I can only be cross at myself if I go too far.. saves OH's ears being chewed :p.

3 loads of laundry hung out last night now folded and mostly away.
3 more lots on the line.. I have about 5 things in one WM though so this is about as up to date as we get.

Boing and meows all outside being very flat in the sunshine! OH also out there with 2 small naughties talking his head off lol. HAHA... DD1 and her latest bf out there too now.. love it..

Off to get out my knitting.. bollards to the fact the back room is destroyed!

  • I've just surfaced out of my pit :j I woke at 6.30 this morning and decided I was going to finish my book and plough through all the Sunday supplements that have been growing under my side of the bed. Objective achieved and OH brought me up a full English about 10.30. LO's have supplied numerous mugs of tea. I feel lucky and refreshed and after this busy week, I darned well earned it!

What should I call it 18 x HH Me time? Decluttering? Time for a shower and back to work - see you all about midnight :D

Bossy - hope little miss is feeling better.

Pigpen - suggestion re wet nights - when DS had a bout of wet nights, we used to have a childish conversation just before lights out where we told his "winky" to wake him up and take him to the toilet. The conversation went something like this.
Me: what do we say to "winky?"
DS: Wake me up and take me to the toilet!!!!!

He used to point to it and give it a good telling off :rotfl: We did this for about a month and I think the repetition reinforced to his subconscious that he needed to wake up. We got there in the end, but the endless bed washing at the time was soul destroying. Hope that helps - anything's worth a try .....

Welcome to newbies and hugs for poorlies - my left eye hasn't stopped running this year yet

I now have a mower with a grassbox and a strimmer (argos offer - hate argos but sometimes you just have to...)
I think the blade is set too low - I've emptied the box twice and have only done about 1/3 of the back lawn  remembered to strim first then the strimmed bits get mowed/hoovered up too.
Have harvested 4 titchy spuds and supplemented the bought spuds; we've had the whoopsied beef join (49p and it's done all 3 of use, down from £5):money:

Happy Birthday BossyHSbirthday_surprise_smiley.gif - hope you get to do this -HSpamper.gif

Nobody wants tea :T so I'm going to pick up all the carp lying around and put another wash on. Need to make my bed, cos of course, it wasn't her own bed she threw up in...

I seem to have a spare cake. It's got another 3 weeks on the date :p

Bossy, I hope you have a happy birthday despite Little Miss Moo throwing up.

Well done Skint - glad you enjoyed your visitors!

Having spent most of yesterday helping DS1 at his new house and driving all over the place doing errands for him, my shoulder was very painful again his morning, so decided to go to A&E. Consequently we decluttered 4 hours of our lives there. Good new: no fracture. Bad news: physio (my mother was a teacher of physiotherapy, old-style, and we never ever told her if we had a painful back or sprained wrist - she had good old-fashioned ways of curing us!).

Late Sunday lunch was sandwiches and juice in an @ld1 car park :( Then we managed to get to 2 big DIY chains to look at kitchens and bathrooms, but DH is in a grumpy mood today (probably because he wears the same clothes in 28 degree heat as in 8 degree cold) so he was not fun to be out shopping with. In the end I said "I'll buy what I want, then" and he came round for 20 minutes - just long enough to get some sense out of him regarding his likes / dislikes

glad to hear nothing broken ionafan, although I would shudde at the prospect of physio!

OH's eh? You've got to love them - mine is pretty similar - doesn't have a summer wardrobe apart from cricket whites (- and they're made of man-made fibre - yeuch! Still they wash well!)
