And only 50p as well! I buy a pack every time I place an order so I can stock up. They also have little angel shaped ones with 'made for an angel' on them.:A Attaching them to the stockings was a nice touch
I couldn't believe the price of them, such good value! I too bought them to put on the Christmas stocking I am making for my Dad and I am sure I will find other things to put them on0 -
Ladies,
Does anyone have the Jolly Nations Caravan Couple cross stitch chart they would like to sell?
I have seen one on Ebay but would rather pay one of you on the forum if you have it.
Here is the link.......

Just got back home last night after a couple of lovely days up in Edingburgh. Stopped at Berwick on the way up and found a lovely little craft shop called Serendipity - had lots of stuff by different crafters at quite reasonable prices.
You've been in my neck of the woodsWere you in Edinburgh for something nice or was it a random trip?

jcs Love that birth sampler Who will be the lucky recipient? I've got a couple of their designs from magazines on my to do list and I've also got a heart shaped wedding sampler design I am planning to do. Unfortunately they forgot to include the extra time I ordered when the chart was delivered :rotfl: This is the design I want to do It should be a fairly quick stitch but I need to get on with my 2nd SB stocking first
beg Your MP Christmas Cottage looks lovely framed.
How lucky to find not 1 but 2 craft shops on your travels. Seeing and feeling things is so much better than shopping online. I've got a pack of those labels - mine say "Stitched with Love by Grandma". Finishing your cushion even though the design was driving you mad shows real love so your label is perfectly justified
FE The Cute Christmas magazine is good value at £3.99 if they are new designs but often they are repeats of things that have been published in the magazines and as you subscribe to Cross Stitcher you may already have a lot of them. Like you say you need to look through it before you buy
mrsceejay For some reason that project isn't in my Flickr account and as I pack away all my Christmas projects I won't be able to photograph it until December.
If I remember correctly I did it took me about a year with other projects as well - I did it in stages - the little girl, the little boy, the tree with gaps in between so I didn't get bored.
Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum has been one of my favourite cross stitch designers since I first saw one of her designs in the early 1990s and it is very sad that there will not be any more from her. But she left behind a wonderful legacy of lots of beautiful designs.
Louise I haven't seen the Made for an Angel charms - will look for them when I place another order on that site
brednall Hope everything is OK with you. Yes I remember a design which was just white on pale blue fabric - I think it may have been around this time last year. If no one else comes to the rescue I will have a look for it at the weekend (although with my stash of magazines I may be gone sometime and you may have to send in a search party)
tricksie Good to hear you are home safely and can put your recuperation period to good use by some restful stitching
Ailsb Hope you soon feel better and in the mood for stitching. I see you have a 11 12 13 project - how much more needs to be done on it? I got very behind on mine due to other commitments (bridesmaid dresses, wedding suit alterations, wedding bunting etc etc ) but am almost back on track in that September's portion is half done and I intend to do some more at the weekend.
mos Sorry don't have the chart you want £2 plus £1 postage seems quite a lot for a used chart - is it a particularly sought after design?0 -

It's not particularly sought after but it is a discontinued chart.0 -

It's for a friend's baby girl who was born a few weeks ago. She has a 2 year old and a new born  I stitched a birth sampler for the oldest girl also.
The wedding sampler is a lovely design0 -
mos - love the caravan couple. Good luck with your search for the chart.
Louise - we were in Edinburgh for a surprise birthday visit to my cousin's wife. She hit a big milestone birthday and unfortunately she hasn't been enjoying good health recently so we thought pop up and surprise her. We stayed at the Premier Inn near airport which just happened to be only a short walk from where they live. Would really recommend that particular P Inn, it was all new and modern and really clean and comfortable. Pity we only had one night there!
fos - really need to get the Wine cushion back out and put any finishing touches on it as it won't be long before it's needed.
Finished the backstitch on the little penguin xmas card tonight and placed order for the 3 for £3 Cross Stitch Card Shop. :j
Take care everyone

Morning All
I have decided to finish my advent calendar strips, it is one of the jobs I have put off as the last thing to be done is the white background and it's a nightmare job! Not only is the thread grubby but the fabric is now grubby (being white), how do you get your work clean, is it safe to put in the washing machine or do I just soak in warm water?
