Hi ladies.
Not posted for a few days again (where does the time go?!?) so apologies if I go over old ground.
Ems. Ok, I don't think anyone else has asked so I am going to.....you are stitching the cut thru pirate ship for your brother who is a Pirate?
You can't just say that without giving more info! What sort of Pirate? a theme park character or a real one who robs from ships? :rotfl:
Coxy. Flower shop is coming along great! Really like it.
Sweetcarer. Nice Winter sampler update.
Celestius. Hi and welcome!
Can't believe ATS is closing, I'm gutted! I don't buy threads often but when I do ATS was the place to go.
As for me. Here's my latest update pic,
Just have the small area around santas hand to finish, then backstitch, then beads to buy and attach.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

I was waiting for someone to ask me that! There is an attraction in Newquay called Buccaneer Bay, where pirates walk you round the history of Cornwall. They are based on actual pirates, the captain is Calico Jack and my brother is his first mate Thomas Brown. It has probably got to be one of the strangest jobs out there but he loves it and is very good at it (can't get him to break character).
Tbh if he had been an actual pirate i'd be phoning the police rather than stitching him something!:rotfl:0 -

Sorry I have been awol for the last few days... been a rather busy weekend!! Am I allowed to post a picture of the HEAD I'm doing here? First bits should be arriving today, I can't wait to get started!! I know it's huge task for a novice, but then I never really do things by half. A year ago I had never run, in April I completed the Marathon. I'm kinda an all or nothing galI'm also very EXCITTTED! :j:j:j:j

I don't get time to post as much as I would like to but I do read the thread and look at the updates every day
Nice to see the thread is getting more Christmassie (am I allowed to mention the 'C' word yet?), ........... Here is my Christmas update, it is very nearly finished, I have some little bits to do around the chimney on the right hand side and then on to back stitching, not looking forward to that bit tho! :rotfl:
Once I have finished with the chart, which should be the middle of next week time I am happy for anyone here to have it. If anyone would like it, please pm me as it will be a shame for this to just sit in my craft room and never get stitched again.
Is it possible to overdo Christmas Xstitch designs, I have some Jannlyn baubles to make once this is done
