Lancs-lady we can't see your photos
I went to one of them, you need to click the get links/sizes button, select forum and change size if needed, then copy the code into a post here.

Can you see them now? I realised after I'd posted that they weren't showing so I went back and edited them. I can see them now, I hope you canSt. Francis said: “A man who uses his hands is a laborer. Well I had a pretty unproductive trip into town this morning on the hunt for frames.
We live in a small town so it was always going to be a bit of a gamble :rotfl:
I bought two frames from the £shop but when I got them home I decided I didn't like them, so back to the drawing board there.
I tried Wilkes for two larger frames for my angels and found perfect frames but there were just a but too small so not so perfect after all lol.
My last option was a photography shop but at £25 for just one frame I thought I would leave it!
I've now decided OH can get them framed for me, professionally for my birthday in June :T just have to find a good framers now.St. Francis said: “A man who uses his hands is a laborer. Love all the angel kits,I have looked at the roses kit many times, but the size and length of time have always put me off,but am very envious.

New York is looking so vibrant, colours are great, love it
Still knitting waistcoat which is all in one piece so it's taking longer than I thought.
Still haven't found anything that takes my fancy to stitch but those roses are calling.....
Just love them
Happy stitching everyone.0 -
Working on the 2nd one hundred years and at the risk of sounding like Yoda again I've done "one hundred years from now, not matter, what kind of house I lived in, it will"
Ideally I'd like to have this finished and the personalisation of the first one by 11th March so I take take them to the framers when DS2 has his next orthodontist appt as the framer is in the same town.
Loving everyone's work
Sorry your search for frames was unsuccessful lancslady. I think they deserve to be professionally framed after all the work you've put in.SPC~12 ot 124

Mrs ceejay - I would say go for it with the roses. It's actually lovely to stitch because the chart is in colour which I personally find easier and it's not as bas as it looks because there are quite a lot of blocks of colour so your not changing your thread every two minutes.
There is another page over the other side too, but I'm really enjoying stitching it. I'm going to cracking on with it again once I've finished my angel wings.
Edited to say the threads are also pre-sorted onto a numbered card.St. Francis said: “A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. He who uses his hands, and his mind, and his heart is an artist.”0 -
I am feeling much better thank you, took about 2 weeks to feel back to myself, but I'm glad that I am!
Also I finally finished the 8th square for the Heirloom Quilt. I'll try and take a photo of them all for you.
I have to figure out the next bit to do, which is a little bit out of my comfort zone, as it's not cross-stitch.
Good work to all of you that have made progress, no matter how big or small. :j0
