I would take that as a compliment nmm. I have a ballerina cross stitch picture in my dining room and that has often been mistaken for a painting. :rotfl::rotfl:
Just catching up with Sewing Bee now.

nmm and beg Your work is painting with stitches0 -

It is part of the Lizzie Kate way of designing to have the same letter in different ways. If you look at this cushion "attention" has 3 letters T stitched differently and the 2 n letters aren't the same. And there are plenty of other examples

But I can see that might bother some people.
It suited me when I changed "children" to "grandchildren" as I had a choice of letters so could choose the ones that best fitted the space0 -
I've got a small finish to show you - it will eventually be the middle of a cushion for a little dancer

It will of course be ironed before then :rotfl:
I expect a lot of us can empathise with magscat I have had to deflect many comments over the years along the lines of "I'd love to be able to do that - would you be able to stitch one for me?" The ones that annoy me are the ones who claim not to have enough time to be able to stitch (I work full time and am the only carer for my disabled husband when I'm home so like most women I know I don't have much spare time but I choose to spend what limited time I have on stitching)0 -
FOS, you said we're painting with stitches, your dancer looks like you sketched her its very pretty
I got my fabric from ATS yesterday it arrived next day, it was larger than expected so i measured it, I got 1m x 1.5m on both fabrics :jCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

I was doing the K in looked and got it wrong then realised i was looking at the k I'd already stitched in the same row but another word. Ther is another one in the top row and that's dufferent again! But looking at the finished photo they all seem the same on that. I've ended up doing mine so they are the same otherwise I think it will irritate me.
Today I've managed I Clothes looked, and because I was important.
Hope all are well
Oh I hadn't noticed but i have only done one K so far. I didn't do any this week as had too much work so ended up doing that at home too. Back on to it tonight hopefully mind you depends how tired I feel as I currently have an irratating habit of wasking at 3am for two hours and a shattered during the day!!
JCS love the lambs both real and stitched.
fos the ballerina really does look like it has been sketched, really lovely.0 -
Well I haven't felt inspired to work on the bluebells for a while but gave it a good couple of hours yesterday, I find the filling in quite tedious as it's not getting any larger but comparing the last photo that I took to this one I am now pleased with the progress and hoping to have a little go tonight too.
