    Morning everyone,

pm2326 - lovely update, the design looks very lifelike.

I had a little completion this weekend. I bought the kit at Ally Pally in October. There's enough threads to do another version, plus I bought two extra buttons - a wool shop and a ball of wool with needles sticking out. Might make one for my Mum.

Going to start a Satsuma Street design next. It's New York cityscape. Ordered the DMC threads I needed from sew and so on NYD and they arrived Saturday. Discounted from 90p to 63p at the moment if anyone needs any? We are going to Florida in August and I've already told DH I want a days shopping to find DMC threads over there - he will go to the Kennedy Space Centre - each to their own lol!

Sorry about rubbish photo, this is as far as I have done on tatty ted, forgotten how I hate sewing grey( memories of the elephants).

I love the finished version but I can't say I enjoy stitching TT designs - so many shades of grey followed by BABS
  • its celtic noel from the celtic ladies series by lavender and lace. ill post an update photo next week. FOS has already completed her and shes beautiful. she was on my wish list for years then DD1 bought me the chart but i wouldnt let myself start it till titanic was finished.

Hugs to you re missing your dad time doesnt heal it just dulls pain slightly for a while but things still sneak up and get you when you arent expecting it. be gentle with yourself

the first entry in my diary for this year was the quote
"Perhaps they are not stars but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know they are Happy"

on a clear night under a star filled sky i often think of my dear father in law, one day i will stitch this

What a lovely quote. There is something about the Christmas period with so much emphasis on families getting together that highlights the missing faces

Morning all, hope everyone is well.
PM I love your bird stitch it looks so real and detailed
coxy, you little knit stitch is really cute, that my second time thief - which reminds me I should be knitting that baby blanket soon or babe will be here first!
Sweet carer I have to say again how beautiful you completed twisted band is, did you also get your stitch booklet completed?
Nam lovely start on your leopard background.
Haven't managed any stitching since the weekend, but she keeps calling to me, I'm managing to resist as I want to get the house square after Christmas and the deccys all put away. Have taken an update photo but need to find time to post it.
