Thanks BEG, its coming along slowly, must remember to buy some evenweave for fractional projects.
Ruth_honey, great that you've picked up your needle again, enjoy your bargain new kit.
I've spent some of my Christmas money on a Elbesee Floor Frame, I managed to win a brand new 36" one in auction for £11.99 :j So pleased as my hands go bad in winter and I struggle to hold my frame, plus its big enough to handle any size project, can't wait.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

Took my Starry Night to craft club on Thursday and then had a good few hours stitching yesterday so have made a dent in page two. There are quite a few blocks of colour on this page so hoping to whizz through it!
DH has gone to a record fair this morning and then we're off to see Taken 3 this afternoon so might do a bit of knitting while I wait for him to come home.
Anybody going to Sandown Park next weekend? I'm going on Saturday. Need some buttons for baby cardigans but nothing else on my wish list so we'll just see what takes my fancy. Have my Birthday and Christmas money saved to spend so hoping to find something nice.
It's not a particularly big show but as it's only an hour's drive away I like it and the tickets are very reasonable.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend girls xCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -
Thinking about getting cushion out for a bit of stitching time
. Think I will need light on even though it is only about 2pm (probably due to the fact the snow is really coming down atm). Just hope it doesn't hang around for too long. Hope you are ok and safe sweetcarer and I am sure your neck of the woods was mentioned in one of the weather reports.
Have started looking through Amazon/Sew and Sew and have so far been restrained.
Keep warm and safe everyone.

Just to let you know Mrs Moneypenny that my Lizzie Kate 100 years kit has arrived and I am hoping to start this week sometime.
PM your bird looks fantastic.
Hope everyone is safe in this weather. It was heavy snow here overnight but most has melted today as it has been nice and sunny.0 -
Hi everyone,
nmm - great start on your next piece
Ruth-honey - good to hear you've picked up your needle again
Mrs ceejay - lovely progress on TT. Is there lots of BABS?
tricksie - please can you post a pic of starry night? I've not been to Sandown - is it indoors lol?
pm2326 - your bird looks lovely, you're almost there
I've been working on my next piece. I've had to switch to a small hoop to make it more comfortable to work with. Don't really like using a hoop, prefer my R&R frame. It's slow progress being 18ct aida and lots of small blocks of colour. It's a completely different design to those I usually stitch, but I plan to do all 8 of them and have them in my spare room/craft room. Pic to follow.
Have a good day all
