Hello,everyone.
Just popping in to wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year.

took dd back to airport on sat(Manchester) it was interesting,A1 was a traffic jam all the way,but she was away on time.got email to say she had landed in Sydney safe and sound yesterday.
My thoughts go out to Malaysian relatives who are waiting for news of the missing plane
Will try and get some stitching done to day,haven't touched it all holiday and it is calling to me

Hi everyone,

Managed to finish Girl with Cosmos last night whilst watching The Pirates (animated film). I have the last one of the three still to do before I can get them framed. That's going to cost a fair bit (which I don't have ATM) so I might do a smaller project next.

No stitching done for me for a little while, thankfully nothing given that is craft related at Christmas either.

Will get back on it in the New Year.

I too have been experiencing a bit of a bald patch when it comes to stitching. I've hardly done anything for the past two months!

Here's hoping for better things in the new year.

Hi everyone,

Well I am a complete numpty!!!

I was looking at the photo of my 'finished' Girl with Cosmos and realised that I hadn't stitched loads of flowers - what a wally! I have now finished it, no really I have, and will upload a new photo tomorrow.

In other news - DD has finished her jigsaw so I will be reclaiming the craft chest to have a look for my next project. I have some Satsuma Street city designs, 7 I think, so may well start one of those.

Was going to say well done on finishing girl with cosmos it looks great but have read you need to add more flowers so looking forward to seeing another piccy of it again.
Managed to get some more done on Celtic lady,s skirts over the last couple of days and it has returned my mojo, also the stocking kit I ordered has arrived so itching to get going on that.
Hope everyone has a good time tonight however they mark the entrance of the new year, we will let it slip in quietly with we watch to or read and stich I think as most of the kids have their own plans.
