Well done Sweetcarer,it is really a work of love,

    Mrs T M
I have a pair from when I worked in the Sheffield steel industry(when we had one that is) and I have a pair from A*D* which was dirt cheap but very sharp,so I can't say which is best.the tiger is so cute.

Well done on finishing the poppies,it is beautiful, love the leopard, loved doing mine.

We went to Thursford spectacular which is in Norfolk,on the way we were desperate for a coffee and stopped at cafe, more a truckers cafe really, and two off the ladies who worked there had decorated the cafe whith lots of crosstitch pictures,
One was head of a macaw parrot,it was fantastic,24 inch squareish, all the feathers looked real, amazing,it must have took ages to do.so we stitchers turn up in the most unexpected places.

Hope you all have had a good and stress free Christmas.

Well done sweet carer it's lovely!

Elvis is in his new home, pride of place at my mums above the fireplace....she's already shown him to a neighbour who is apparently suitably impressed and jealous that he doesn't have one!

She's also told her best friend (another elvis fan) and she's jealous without having seen him yet :rotfl:

Little tiger is finished! Added the little ones name and birth info for the new owner, and hoping to send it out to her next time I'm in town. :) Really need to get a better light so that I can see better to stitch and so that the colours will come through more true in photos.

    Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you are all safe and well. The snow hasn't come to us in the South East - for which I am very grateful.

Some lovely update photos. I have nothing to update you on as a combination of work and having people over, means I haven't done any stitching this week :( I'm still hoping to finish Girl with Cosmos this year (wishful thinking maybe...) as I only have the basket and some grass left to do. It's doable, just need to stop watching films and Christmas specials with DH!!

No stitchy gifts for me this Christmas although DD got a lovely pair of Cath Kidston scissors - well jel!!

My Mum knitted the whole family (over 20 of us) a hat each. Mine is magenta pink fairisle - the brightest of them all! Such a funny time, opening them all and taking selfies. It's very warm and cosy. Next year she has promised us all socks lol!

Will update with a photo soon, I promise :D

Well done on finishing Mrs T_M, its really cute :)

pm2326, love the update its looking fab.

Coxy, your mum sounds really cool, will the socks match the hat?? :D

My first update on the Leopard, as most of the BS makes up grass and bits on the flowers, I'm going to do it as I go along.

Hi all just a quick pop in to say I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. No stitching done for me for ages but I hope to remedy this is in the new year.

I have a mental plan to stitch more and lose weight so hopefully one will help the other and vice versa. I have three projects in mind that I would like to finish by the end of March so think this will keep me motivated.
  • Quick pop in to say I'm loving all the updates and photos, I haven't yet had any stitching time but did bring my stitching bag back downstairs yesterday so hope that I will get some done today.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas and the new year is kind to everyone
