Thanks for the welcome Shelly
Winnepooh that's lovely
I have made a bit of progress with my birds but have now run out of another colour and will need to go to a shop to get new thread as I don't know what official colour it is. I will be standing there with my cross stitch holding it up against the thread standhehe

Hello girls
Sweetcarer - love the samplers. Can't wait to see your progress with those. Colours are lovely. I daren't add them to my list as much as I love them.Baby pics are lovely too - they look so different to a lot of the other pics that are available. Hope they appreciate all your hard work. Just seen hearts - they are gorgeous. Well done you :T.
ems - it's so frustrating when you realise you have made a mistake and need to unpick. Looking forward to seeing a piccy.
vl2588 - its so easy to pick up the wrong colour. Hope you manage to sort the colours ok.
winnie - your stained glass window is looking beautiful. Great colours.
Have tried to spend some time on 12 Days so have had to limit time on laptop. Here's an update of how it's looking so far.
That's half way with the cross stitching so things are so bad.
Hope it's not too wet wherever you are. Its been chucking it down here today and I have to go and collect DS from work late tonight as he is having some work done on his car. The way its going I might have more luck with a canoe.
Take care everyone. Think I might make a start on my French hen.

My current piece is staring to come together now but i think it's going to take longer than i originally thought. I have three more pieces to do after this one for presents and then i can finally make a start on the ones i want to do for myself!
