Well i spent most of the morning cross stitching a new piece....and then most of the afternoon unpicking it when i realised i'd used the wrong colour. Oh well...

I received the latest issue of Cross Stitch Crazy today. Usually it doesn't arrive until Monday. Have only glanced through the mag but nothing appeals and I am disappointed. I have decided to cancel the subscription so have told my bank - payment was taken in July so I suspect I shall get another couple of issues in the post. Hopefully they will be better. I see next month's issue is xmas themed.

I have finally re-started my cross stitch thanks to you guys :smileyhea - just done a couple of leaves and discovered I've run out of one colour, which is highly annoying given I have lots and lots of spares but none are anywhere close (never knew how many shades were even possible before I began cross stitching).

The winter sampler is lovely with the snowflake shapes

i started a cover kit and used the wrong shade of red last week so ran out, but im going to improvise with some of my thread stash and finish the started one off then find some more burgundy for the back stitch on the proper one.

havent made a coffee cake in ages but now youve mentioned them i want a slice as well.

did a bit of sea area on titanic this afty.

just going to watch a film so see you in the morning
