OOOOOHHH! We should meet up Maria! I am just off Sevenoaks Road near the war memorial :D

Was thinking about going to the Hobbicraft knit and stitch when the children are back at school - think it's Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning.

Off to get the washing in before it goes dark. Then a final push on !!!!!! before bed.

    Hello girls,

    Hope all are well.

Wondering if any one has discount codes for willow fabrics (http://www.willowfabrics.com/) or Katz Cross Stitch (http://www.katzxstitch.co.uk/) or even Across Town (http://www.across-town-stitching.talktalk.net/index.html) and Cross Stitch Heaven (http://www.cross-stitch-heaven.co.uk/).

I am getting ready for my next round of projects - the seasons in sampler form found in Cross Stitch Collection by Helen Phillips.

I have all the magazines but you can buy each pattern for £1.49 from themaking spot - http://www.themakingspot.com/global/search?filters=type:project&keys=helen%20philipps

Each place has 50 x 50 14hpi aida (need 4 pieces and not to confident in cutting up a metre square) and I just need one thread, got the rest when the Americans were looking for the Joan Elliott diary - some didn't have paypal so they paid me in threads (floss).

    Thank you,

    sweetcarer ;)

PS Seen an earlier chart about ORT jars - should take a photo of mine - use them to stuff pin cushions as gifts.

    Hi all

Coffeeandstitches welcome looking forward to seeing some of your finished work. Like you I hate back stitch but it's worth the pain lol.

Sweetcarer - those samplers look lovely. What are you going to do with them when you are finished?

I was feeling tired the last couple of night's so Let's do wine was not a good idea. I started a chrimbo card on Wednesday night just a wee snowman and it's nearly finished so will keep that for when I take DS1 to swimming lessons and then it will give me something to do.

Last night I finished the cross stitch on my WIP Eeyore so I now just need to do the backstitch, which I may get done tonight but maybe not as feeling shattered (DS2 didn't go to sleep til 9pm, then I couldn't sleep til after midnight as I was too hot, then DS2 was awake again between 3am and 4:30am groan). An early night for me tonight I think.
  • Good morning one and all and a big welcome to the newbies

sweetcarer. Love your new projects. I have sent pm about discount code

coxy. Your Santa is so cute and ideal for taking away if it has everything you need in the pack

Managed a bit of stitching on my Shepherd's Bush stocking this week and hope to do some more this evening after a very busy day ahead

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend
