Thank you everyone for your lovely comments
With it being sunny today I managed to get him washed, dried and ironed, ready to be framed. I've been looking at custom frame prices and with the mount its around £20 so I will get it ordered next week and of course post a framed pic
Thinking of getting a proper frame for Czar at the same time, well its the same postage cost so its moneysaving :money:
My next project is Remembrance Fields, then I'm going to take on Dreams Of Atlantis, just need to order some fabric. Going to do DOA on 25ct or 22ct 1 over 1, wish me luck :rotfl:

nmm - well done on finishing BD its lovely. Looking forward to seejng him framed. Love Field of Remembrance very appropriate for this year. DoA is a massive project I havd to say I don't envy for this one, but it is stunning.
I've got quite a few pictures of completed pieces to post, will try to do it this week. I've started my MILs 80th birthday present, its a Westie on 18 count and seems to be at least 100 shades of white! To say its slow going doesn't um it up. Never mind havd until beginning of August.
Have ordered shipping forecast blackwork design to stitch for hubbys 50th at beginning of July. It hasn't arrived yet and can only dtitch it when he's not here, so some late nights heading my way.
Hope dveryone has had a good weekend. Off to bed now.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

morning all
BD looks absolutely stunning in all his finished glory, he deserves a lovely frame and putting on show. cant wait to see him framed.
re pinning, i cant understand people getting a bit upset its more the being told after and not being asked that is the main annoyance i think.
i will continue to post and put photos on here but obviously now if things are gifts i will be wary of posting before they have been given incase they are pinned and seen by the person they are intended for.
have finished 2 panels of dictionary of homes mobile and time, working on grown at the mo.
hope all are well.
love the look of DOA but wow so much work involved.
thank you for that link fos some beautiful and tempting things on there.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone,
nmm - many congrats on finishing BD, he looks stunning. Will you frame him yourself? I don't know whether my framers is good value. The silver anniversary piece is about A5 size, we decided on a double mount (1/4" plus 3/4") and an oak frame about 1"wide. He's charging me £43. I don't mind as it's a gift and I would spend that in any case, but what do you guys think?
Have done some more on Daisy Girl, pic to follow. I don't like the fact that MSE have automatically assumed we are cool with having photos pinned. However I don't design things myself so will continue to post pics here for the foreseeable.
Latest edition on CSC arrived today. Yet again, nothing grabs my attention so I'm pleased it's only costing me £5 for 5 issues

Thanks again for all the lovely comments, I have yet to start a new project as I planned on using some 18ct fabric I had but its cream and Remembrance fields sky really needs it to be white, so I have to order some. Trying to decide on something else to use the fabric as I have over 1m of it :rotfl:
Coxy, i will be framing it myself using a custom frame BD is approx 16" x 12" i buy them from here http://www.ezeframe.co.uk/ i find them good value and they have 15% off atm, it worked out at around £40 for BD & Czar, both with mounts.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

I hate spending money when I have something alternate to use, so I'm going to try the cream aida on RF, if I think the sky needs it i'll add some white half stitches. If its no good i'll unpick and use it on another project.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0
