Thank you Yes I did the beads - I think they really finish off the Christmas tree and there aren't that many compared to some of her other designs. Although it's a bigish piece I found it stitched up quite quickly - the beading took a while but there is hardly any back stitch and it's all whole cross stitches.
She is one of my favourite designers and I feel really sad that there won't be any more designs from her in the future (though I've still got plenty of her charts to stitch)
I was very pleased with the way the framing turned out. You can't see them very well but it has 3 mounts - green, gold and red, which are the main colours in the piece and they really enhance the stitching in the way that good framing is supposed to do.
But I don't want to distract you if you have a plan for your stitching .......0 -

This is done on my iPad The share icon is at the bottom of the screen and there appears to be 2 options. Grab the link or grab the HTML /bbcode It's the 2nd option you click on and then select all, copy and paste into the message
Sorry you are having so much trouble. Advent calendar looks great

Mrs Ceejay, I too have the same trouble as you when trying to post pictures on here
I don't know if you remember, but I started a Xstitch of my two border collies......well, I have picked it up again and have absolutely no idea of where I am with it or where I have been! So frustrated as I didn't mark off the chart as I went so now having to spend hours section ing and marking it off! DD has suggested I just start the whole thing again but I will not be beaten!
I did start by marking it off but got lazy after a while.....

I see what you mean. With so few colours stutched it won't be easy to see where you are on the chart. Good luck!0
