I could get used to these 3 day weekends.
After a busy 2 days yesterday was spent relaxing and sorting through my stitching stuff and Pinterest. I have decided I need to live to age 400 to complete everything I want to do
I completed another UFO - a pair of elegant ladies which had been relegated to the UFO box when I ran out of 3 of the colours of Anchor thread. Just need to decide what to do with them now.image by stitchyfeather, on Flickr
I also did some more stitching on "Let them be Small" - the Lizzie Kate chart which Louise stitched last month. I always enjoy stitching LK designsimage by stitchyfeather, on Flickr

Hi everyone,
We were away in Somerset this weekend for DS2s rugby tour (U10s) so no time for stitching or posting.
Loving all the updates and pics.
sweetcarer - sorry that your work colleagues made you upset. I'm the same - just the smallest off the cuff comment and it really affects me for days. Sending you hugs xx Your twisted band sampler is exquisite - I love the colours you are using and the range of stitches is amazing.
Mrs_T_M - great Mario designs.
marywooyeah - tut tut (only joking) I can think of many recipients for some of those teehee
b-e-g - ewe are my sunshine looks fantastic all framed up. The frame is a lovely colour. The red tree design is great - good idea to switch to evenweave.
Ayeshalush - great start to Henry
Annie - the design is really taking shape.
fos - the pair of elegant ladies are really nice. Will you frame them as a pair or individually?
As for me, I've ordered threads for the Garden Medley from sew and so. Realised that the design is only 2" by 11" (!!!) so it won't take any time at all to stitch. Have therefore ordered threads for another two designs from my stash - Gingerbread Trio and a Michael Powell mini Christmas design (yes - I'm back to stitching for Christmas lol).
In the meantime though, I've gone through my stash and picked up a WIP that I'd started and had immediately gone wrong with grrrr. I unpicked it last night and made a start. There are three in this range that I have - Daisy Girl, Girl with Cosmos and Collecting Shells. My Mum stitched Collecting Shells and has it finished and framed so has told me to do that one last lol.
Will post pics in the next thread using ipad.
Have a good day all.

blue_eyed_girl wrote: »Here we go. I think DH has made a good job of the sheep pic. This is one of the Ikea Frames - not bad value at all - I think it was £1.95 and the mounts were two sheets of card (15p each) so all in all it was quite a :money: project
and this is the kit I got from China - I just call it the Red Tree as I cannot read Chinese :rotfl:
It did come with 11ct aida but I thought with so much of the fabric showing I would swap it for evenweave. Only seven colours in it and some of them look that similar they could be the same.
Have a good weekend everyone.
