    Morning!

Up with the lark this morning as DS1 and DD are back to school today. DS2 has an inset day so we are running errands in town - he is delighted NOT!

Annie021063 - welcome to the caf! :D Your owls design is very cute. Your current design is very stylish - all those greys though....oh my life!

nmm - sorry to hear about the dog incident. I hope you are on the mend now. BD looking lovely as always. The cat design for your friend is really sweet.

mrs m-p - lovely christening gift - hope they like it.

pm2326 - great update on Elvis. Regarding the missing threads, have those colours been reassigned with a new number? Just a thought.

sweetcarer - very pretty wedding sampler, sure they will love it.

emslovesmickey - cute Christmas cupcakes - never too early to stitch for Christmas ;) The photostitch is great.

m-o-s - Happy Nappers is looking wonderful, so much detail.

Mrs_T_M - another cute owl design - I love owls. The bear design is looking good already.

fos - another completed design - you are so fast!! The wedding sampler will look stunning on the navy aida, the colours are really gorgeous.

Well that's me all caught up. My fingers have just about recovered from French knots using 6 strands on 16 count aida - I kid you not - it drew blood...... Will be on the look out for a frame and mount for it now.

Hope you all have a fab day.

    hope all are well

such beautiful updates and lovely stitching going on, looks like everyone has been really busy.

i picked up a little jane greenoff kit for 50p at the carboot on sunday. its a little watbo scissor keeper in cherry pie design. its on linen and uses a variety of different stitches, you stitch 3 identical squares in a orw then sew them along the sides to create a little 3 sided shape.

    drizzly here today

Hi, no they're still current colours.....found one of them in the box last night....in exactly the right place aswell! :rotfl:

Still can't find the other and I've been right through all 447 colours to double check incase I put it back in the wrong place.

Have finished the 2nd page all be it for 12 squares which need the missing colour, so wont take a pic update until they're filled in.

It was lovely and sunny 10 mins ago so was planning on going for a walk and maybe see if I can get some cheap lamb from the shops for a curry tomorrow but seeing as its now come over all cloudy it's more likely I'm going to be starting page 3 of Elvis instead :T

** just checked my email and threads could take up to 21 days due to high demand! Have noticed this comment on a few sites over the last week...seems odd that everyone is suddenly ordering loads of threads**

Wow, I went away for a few days and there have been so many beautiful updates!

FOS I especially love your sparkly evenweave. I can't wait to see it finished, I bet it will look stunning.

nmm  at your dog incident. How frightening that must have been. I hope you're recovering OK

I've not done any stitching over the last few days with being away, but am hoping to get the irises finished in the next week or so.

Head is done! This design is so much cuter than I anticipated! Annoying due to all of the tans/browns, but very cute.

    Evening,

Hope everyone had a good Easter? Last of the lambs arrived, and 2 calves safely arrived.

Well, I've made a start. Not that it looks like anything yet :rotfl:
