    Hi ladies.

Not posted in so long I am now too far behind to comment individually :o
I have been reading everyday so can confidently say that the finishes are great and WIPs are looking great too, there isn't a single one I'm not looking forward to seeing more updates of :)

Maria. Iv'e had a couple of thoughts on your Bella piece if I'm not too late.
Could you try doing an area in half stitches over near Bella so that you can compare the 2? Obviously stitch where stitches are meant to go so that you don't have larger than normal holes where you shouldn't when finished.
Also, as they are to be displayed altogether what do the others look like?
If they have areas of full stitches at the bottom (for grass or water etc) would this one look out of place being done in halves? Would that bother you, I know personally it would bug me :o

My Rose Garden is coming along slowly but surely. I'm still really enjoying stitching it and will do an update pic on monday (if I remember...lol)

    Hi Shellly,

It is going after these 3

and will be framed with the brighter of the pinks

this is the section I have done (closer up in half stitches and I think that as it is done with 3 strands on 28ct even weave it looks quite well covered

I'm still so very undecided lol, but I really don't want to spend for ever doing white on white I want to do something with more colour lol

As usual, I've loads to catch up on!! I've been reading but not managed to post until today so I'll not comment individually as my post will be sooo long!!

    Loving all the progress pics!

nmm - Poor you, hope your bite is healing ok!

b_e_g - re SW, I've not mentioned it here but I go to a local class. I have tried them all over the years and SW is the one that I find easiest to stick with long term. Hope it's going ok and just shout if I can help you with any queries on the plan (not that I'm an expert but have been doing it, on and off, for a while).

I've almost finished stitching my needle case (will post pics when it is finished) and today I ordered my fabric and threads to do the Henry VIII sampler that Ailsb, very kindly, sent me the chart for. I ordered them from Cross Stitch Heaven, who have excellent prices for threads, so may be a week or two before I receive them, so until they arrive I'll concentrate on finishing the needle case and maybe a 'free with mag' kit or two. Soooo looking forward to stitching Henry!!

Maria. Seeing the other Bellas I think half stitches would look ok as the others don't have large chunks of colour at the bottom.

Let us know what you decide! :)

Ended up walking lots yesterday in town carrying two tins of paint and 13 packs of floor tiles, so really over did it on my poor feet. One of my heels feels like it's bruised, I can barely put any weight on it today!

I was able to get the ceiling painted in the hopefully future nursery though, and it looks really good!

Guess due to the foot pain, today will be filled with watching NCIS episodes (I'm on season 2 already, how did that happen?!) and stitching. Oh bother. ;)

Thanks for the SW support Ali. I know it works if you stick to it - I did it very successfully many many years ago and lost a considerable amount but hey ho regained all that I lost plus some :o. Looking forward to seeing your needlecase and good luck with Henry. I think the colours in it are amazing.
