Of course we can help, there are lots of support links about, several on FB and one specific to SW on mse, good luck tomorrow if you go. I've been dieting for years but this time I really feel I have it by the throat and am making big progress (40lbs down since start of Jan) the new EE plan works really well and is very friendly. Good luck

Thanks Annie. Well done on such fantastic results from Jan. :T Well I plucked up courage and just been weighed on our scales :eek::eek: and then I will probably be a stone or so heavier on their scales so oh my goodness. :o I have got butterflies in my stomach at the thought of going there tonight - however I am going. ;)

Will let you know if I survive the first class. :rotfl:

    Evening All,

Sorry I have been gone from this thread for a while, life been getting in the way and not up to chatting much, courtesy of the black dog!

I have still been doing a bit of stitching and have nearly finished Happy Nappers, on page 9 of 9, hoping to get it finished for my DD 17th Birthday on the 11 May.

Love all the update pictures, I have been reading and keeping up with you all, just not posting much on here.

Here is where I am at today with HN..........

Lovely to see you back in the Cafe mos. Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling too good. Hope that things pick up for you soon. Great update pic btw :T

Page 14 of BD completed :j I've made a start on Floral Cat only 6 stitches so not worth a photo, hopefully I can get it finished quickly, then back to the last 2 pages of BD.

I haven't used SW, I just did workouts in my living room :o I now keep track of all my food using My Fitness Pal, I've added all my recipes as I cook everything from scratch, my job is quite active so I don't have to worry about things too much :) Whilst we are on off topic stuff, my OH has swapped to e-cigs and has not had a real cigarette since last Saturday, some people say they don't work, well they are working for him which i'm super happy about :T plus they are cheaper too :money:

Great BD pic nmm. Sorry I thought you also went to SW. Well done on your workouts and keeping track of all your eats. How are your injuries? Well done to OH too with the e-cigs. DS's girlfriend was a smoker and by the sounds of things she has tried most things in an attempt to give up. She tried the e-cigs and only did them for a little while and now she is able to do without them. It is lovely when DS comes home and his clothes don't stink of ciggies. :D So apart from the obvious health benefits hopefully his wallet will be feeling the benefit too ;)

Finished my two little owls, and started on a little bear pattern for a friends birth sampler for her new little girl.

In progress shot of the bear pattern. It has 5 different colours of brown/tan, so it may end up doing my head in!

Little owls are so cute. :T Looking forward to seeing the bear grow.

I love the wine pattern blue eyed girl, can you share where it came from? It would make perfect gift fior a friend
    Thanks

Hi again Annie. You can tell I'm replying as I am reading posts.

I am pretty sure that this is where I got the Wine chart from. From what I can remember the service was very good and the chart is printed on thin card. Really pleased with the final stitched result and friend loved it too.

Well got the washer on, having a cup of tea but don't know if the washing will make it onto the line as it looks very overcast just now.

Enjoy the rest of the Easter break everyone

I agree that this site is great value and provides good service but if you are happy to print out the chart yourself it is cheaper from here http://http://www.crosstitch.com/search. And you get it immediately.

Lovely design. I'm a huge fan of this range

Very cute. I know what you mean about working with lots of shades in similar colours but it's usually worthwhile
  • I've finished If I stitch fast. Hasn't been pressed yet though:eek:

I still need to finish the Yoshi's island 'home sweet home' one that I started over a year ago. It's turned into a monster and a constant work in progress! I'm probably going to pick some of the stitches out, since I used a way too thick thread and I now have the colours that will work for it. I'm going to love having that one finished, just may not enjoy the process of getting it there! I'll try to work on that one a bit today as well as the bear.

Thanks to flowers of Scotland and blue_eyed_girl

My current project is like yours mrs_t_m, 4 basic colours grey, black, white and yellow but 15 shades. You need great light and have to look from a distance to see real effects. Once I've taken some pics I will post them.
Good luck at SW blue_eyed_ girl! my scales weigh 1lb less than hers so hopefully you won't be too surprised.

There's a thread gremlin in my house  I've lost 2 colours!

I have the full set in a box and when I went to get 2 of the colours for Elvis they're missing...I always replace them once I've finished using them...cant even think what project I may have used these colours on...I have 2 other projects on the go and checked both of them and the colours aren't there and I've even checked my 'spares' tin and I don't have any in there!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrggghhhh

I've ended up having to order replacements as no-where around here sells DMC threads anymore since the little needlecraft shop closed down :(
