Hello girls
Sorry I have not been about for such a long time - I have been sleeping, eating, working, stitching and browsing. Not much happening in life - been up and down and trying to fight it all the way. Anyway, here is a wee update for you - done a wee wedding sampler for one of the girls at work. Well done all of you in your updates, will try and post more - got Easter off - so planning to [STRIKE]tidy up[/STRIKE] stitch more
Kind wishes,
sweetcarer:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0 -
FOS - I love those Ursula Michaels designs, but have managed to resist for the moment lol.
Mrs_T_M - hope both you and bunny are recovering ok from your incident
b_e_g - hope you've got some nice plans for the weekend. I have very little planned, except lunch with some friends on Sat and some stitching and card making. Should really try and do some housework too, I suppose lol.
Shaztastic - Wow! That is big. Can't wait to see your updates. I would love to see a photo over your cut thru haberdashers. I have the cut thru stable waiting to be stitched.
Big Bird - your irises are lovely.
mrs-moneypenny - your biscornu is lovely. I've not tried to do one yet, but printed off a free chart today so it is now on my to do list.
pm2326 - Elvis is looking fab!
sweetcarer - lovely wedding sampler. I'm sorry you're having a difficult time just now.
My stitching this week has been on a needle case. Hope to get it finished this weekend. Will post a pic when I do.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Hi everyone, bit of a lurker here but an avid stitcher and knitter. I've just finished a project and thought I might have a go at framing it myself or turning it into a cushion. Has anyone else done thus with their projects? Is it fairly straight forward? Are there any good step by step instructions anywhere?
Would appreciate any comments
Thanks0 -
Hi everyone, it's been a while since i've posted pics (have now found the BB code bit on flickr) so here are my updates of the two WIP's

Hi all
Just been catching up on the thread. As always some beautiful makes and WIPs, too many to mention individually as not been on in a week and wow how does this thread grow lol.
Hello to the newbies. You will love it here everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Update from me is that Let's wine has the grapes on the left hand side completed and I have started the border. Still quite a bit to go though. Have been fairly busy the last week and have not been able to concentrate in the evenings so have done a couple of very quick flower designs which are the infills for some little boxes I have. I then intend to decoupage the boxes to make them into small gift/trinket boxes. Could be interesting as I have never done decoupage before!!
Anyway have a lovely Easter everyone, hope to catch up again a bit sooner.0 -

Hi all,
Happy Easter :EasterBun
I have finished the cross stitch on the stockings design - pic to follow. Now just the backstitch, lazy daisy, couching, couching with fringe and French knots to do
Some lovely makes and WIPs - I especially love the irises, one of my fave flowers.
Still need to find 32 count evenweave for my next project. Hobbycraft don't sell it so will probably get it online. Should have ordered it from sewandso when I got the chart and threads
SIL coming soon to drop off eggs for the children. DH has just said is it ok to go out tonight - am I wrong for thinking "oh goodie, I can get on with my stitching"?
Hugs to all having a hard time, particularly sweetcarer and Mrs_T_M xx
