Hello all, hope everyone is well

Looks like you have all been busy, some lovely projects being made :)

I have tried a few times now to pick up my stitching in the past 6 weeks but I just can't get into it at all. Things are still catching my eye but I just can't be bothered doing anything. :( Things have been busy though so hoping to try again during the easter hols :)

Thanks for popping by. Hope you are ok

ems, just read your blog and wow on meeting the BSB, I totally relate to you about having no social life I am the same. I go to work and that's pretty much it, the rest of the time i'm on my pc or stitching.

*Louise*, I hope you are well and that you get your stitchy bug back soon :)

    Hi all
Lovely photos your all doing so well it's wonderful.

At last I did some stitching yesterday the 1st time in months, didnt do much ( had friends turn up) but will do some more today.

EMS. I don't go out much since we moved and I've not been working either so have seen very few people. I do miss the contact at times with others. Though it's not so bad since we've had the nicer weather as have been out in the garden and spoken to passers by.

Wishing you all a good day

bigbird as has been said that's not bad for UFOs/stash :D

I've stitched one of the little girl designs in that range - they are really cute. I agree that swapping to evenweave would be a good move. I love the Feng Shui design - is it by Joan Elliott? The yellow sampler and the Scarlet Quince chart will give you lots of variety

Thanks for this. Yes, the Feng Shui one is a Joan Elliot design.

ems I love your vintage stitch. Sounds like there are a few of us on here with similar social lives (or lack of). I'm a proper little hermit and it really doesn't help that I work from home so most days don't see anyone other than DH, the boys and their childminder briefly when I drop them off. That was part of the reason I took up netball, to get out and actually speak to some people occasionally.

    Louise and craftycrafty.

Started backstitch on Ewe Are My Sunshine but I really should be getting on with other chores :o

Drying clothes indoors as it is quite miserable outdoors. :( DS needs his uniform drying for this afternoon. He only has one set and he came in from his shift late last night. Apparently with him only being contracted to do 16hrs he is only entitled to one set but it's not easy when he has extra hours.

Hope you all manage some stitchy time today.

Might be back later with a pic of the sheep. ;)

Might wait until I go to Ikea as I like some of their coloured frames unless I come across anything in the meantime.

Has anyone used stamped aida? Looking for a larger project for later in the year and I have come across on and it uses stamped aida and also has a coloured chart to go with it. Just wondered what it would be like to use.

Also just realised that the April WOCS will be the last of my 5 for £5 so I had a quick google and couldn't find any more of these offers for this mag. If anyone comes across one please give me a shout :D.

Thinking about what to stitch next - might do a couple of the free cards that have come with the recent mags (butterflies and cat in a flowerpot?) as they might come in handy in case I have forgotten anyone's birthday or need a thank you card.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend everyone.

  • Thanks. Your Vintage sampler is fab and will make a stunning cushion. Have you picked the fabric to make it yet? Also loved seeing your other crafty makes. You are very talented

Thanks fos - i've only been crafting for a year so it's nice to hear i'm doing ok! Haven't picked the fabric yet, i'm gonna have to look through my stash to find the perfect one.

    Hi all

Lovely work by everyone as always. Some really interesting makes. It's amazing the variety of projects we choose to do.

Louise great to see you. Hope you are ok. I was wondering where you were as I hadn't seen you post recently.

I have managed to finish all my stitching for the terracotta pot embellishments that I want to use up so now just need to get round to ironing them puting the backing on and assembling the cards. I am now on holiday for 2 weeks so hoping to find some time to do that and then I am determined to finish let's wine, hopefully I will get that done this fortnight too.
