If you are interested in doing it,send me a text and I will send the chart over to you when I have finished it x
Thanks so much for your very kind offer but unfortunately I don't have any spare wall space in bedroomThe only wall I have for pics already has Sleeping Beauty on which is quite large. But we must have a good choice in colours as I think they look really lovely together.
Looking forward to seeing next update and to find out how your doing with metallic.
Fantastic updates and photos everyone, I love all the work going on
Latest BD update, are you not bored of these yet :rotfl:
Us bored of pics :rotfl: We will miss him once you have finished him.Morning all
Wow, some beautiful cross stitching going on. beg your anemones look beautiful, I love the colours. All of the others look wonderful too, it's so nice to see the progress and then the finished article.
I've not done much stitching for the last week or so as work has been crazy busy and I've had to work in the evenings, but it's calmed down now. I also managed to hurt my ankle at netball training last night, I think I've strained my achilles tendon, so will need to take it easy for a bit - which sounds like a perfect excuse to sit with my feet up and do some stitching
I though I'd post some pics, since some of you said you like them so much
This is the one I'm working on at the moment, which I started god knows how many years ago. I'd done about 2/3 of the green before putting it away.

And this is my stashthe Yellow Coats Sampler I intend to frame and put in DS2's room. Collecting Daisies I just though was so sweet, so that's for me. It has quite a few fractional stitches so I might get some evenweave for that, rather than the aida that's in the kit.

I've ordered the chart for Kissing the Face of God, so that little lot should keep me busy for the foreseeable future! :rotfl:
Love your iris update. Looking forward to seeing you new projects.
Hope your ankle isn't too painful now - make the most of it and get the stitching out.

Beg, anemones are beautiful framed, your DH should go into business framing (if he isn't already) may i ask does he lace them or use a sticky backboard? Your cushions are great at first glance I thought you posted the wrong photo as I couldn't see any knitted ones due to the way you finished them, they look so professional :T Mine would just be a square cover, lol.
I think most of the time he just uses double sided sticky tape. He has also used spray adhesive on a couple of larger ones and everything seems to have worked well. They have been done for many many years (probably 30 yrs +) and don't appear to have suffered at all. I sorted him info on lacing when he did Sleeping Beauty but he didn't bother with it. He cut the double mounts too for SB. I wouldn't have a clue. He sits down and works all the measurements out so that it all looks right - I think its his engineering background. He enjoys fiddling around too and I think that helps. I am way too impatient.
I must have done a really good job of cushion photo as they look so much better in photo than real life. :rotfl:

The photo doesn't actually show it properly, the beads etc. I'm really pleased with it and quite chuffed with myself as it is my first attempt at adding beads, ribbon etc. Now just got to look into getting it properly framed.

The anniversary couple are going to be thrilled with this Ali. :T

ruth You know what they say .... you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family; good to have friends in the Cafe where you can safely vent
ailsb Hedgehog hats sound wonderful - looking forward to seeing photo
bigbird as has been said that's not bad for UFOs/stash
I've stitched one of the little girl designs in that range - they are really cute. I agree that swapping to evenweave would be a good move. I love the Feng Shui design - is it by Joan Elliott? The yellow sampler and the Scarlet Quince chart will give you lots of variety
ems what's the link to your blog so that we can see your Vintage sampler completed? Well done BTW
ayeshalush Anniversary sampler is beautiful and sure to be appreciated - I predict tears
mrsmp looking forward to seeing progress pics on Dictionary of Homes - I love that whole series. Dictionary of Cakes is hanging in our hall and provokes a lot of amusement
luckycat it was me who stitched A-Z o needlework Thanks to jcs for finding a link. I enjoyed doing the stitching although it became a UFO because I didn't do the backstitch as I went along Here is a link to my framed piece - hope it provides inspiration for you and for JCS to get her kit out of stash and start stitching it
coxy great progress on the stockings
emily beautiful card - I'm sure it was appreciated. Love the wedding sampler - lovely colours
beg very jealous of you having your own framer. I have a very good framer who is also quick quick most of the time but isn't cheap
Been late home every night this week (mix of social and work commitments) so haven't picked up a needle. Intend to put that right this evening
Hope no one is suffering with this air pollution. When I look at the state of my car and my house windows I don't like to think about what is going into my lungs :eek:0 -

Thanks. Your Vintage sampler is fab and will make a stunning cushion. Have you picked the fabric to make it yet? Also loved seeing your other crafty makes. You are very talented0
