Evening all,
No sewing done today, had my Great Aunt's funeral today and ended up falling asleep when I got back in.
I did see in Sainsburys today some small jars filled with ribbons, buttons, etc which had a pin cushion on the lid - which I thought would make nice ORT jars. Can't find them on their website, I might give in to temptation tomorrow and then post picture.
Smokey kitten doing well, eating his food and sleeping a lot.

coxy - the interview sounds like a nightmare but then the store sounds like it may need a bit of licking in to shape too. Hope it turns out how you want it to.
Maria - love the card so cute.
Ayeshalush - congratulations on your bargin with the cut through stable.
JCS1 - poor kitty, hope he gets better soon.
beg - the vase of flowers is lovely. I really like how the glass stands out already. the Book Thief is a brilliant book. I really liked the film too but did get frustrated that certain bits were out of sync with the book but hey that happens most of the time and for me didn't detract too much from enjoying it.
mrs mp - the tiger cub looks great now he is all finished and on the cushion. Looks like it won't be long til your tulips are finished.
Horrendous night last night as both DS1 and OH had a bug so there was copious running to the loo between them. DS2 had it on Wednesday night so I am just waiting for my turn:( Don't think I have ever used so much bleach, disinfectant and wipes in three days. The bathroom is absolutely spotless lol.0 -
Hello everyone
Made a start to my wee book of stitches and what else do I start with but CROSS STITCH.
I have made a single one, a row of stitches in large size - using green as the first stitch and light pink as the second stitch. Then I done a complete stitch with all dark pink. I have also done them in single strand to show them off better. Then I done some in normal sizes using the same colour system - picture shows it better than I can explain it.
I have also been working away on my learning sampler. Looking forward to pay day as I am going to buy my materials for the twisted band sampler I am doing in memory of mum - can't decide if I do it in 28 or 32 or even 36 hpi.
Well off grocery shopping soon, keep well everyone.
