  • jcs Rosa is stunning and you seem to be making great progress

maisielove Your WiPs and finished pieces especially Wine. Who will finish first you or b e g?

mrsmp. Love a bargain and the next best thing to finding one myself is hearing about them. Looking forward to seeing pics of tiger cub

orts. I knew what the term meant from reading US magazines. I'm another one who uses the last bit of thread so filling a jar would take years. I do use glass jars to store some of my stash such as balls of perle thread and buttons. I think they look nice and it's easy to find things

Sleeping beauty. Although I agree she is so beautiful she should be on display I also think she belongs in a bedroom. She looks amazing framed

bobbis mummy. Noah's Ark looks lovely framed and is sure to be appreciated

Not much x stitching achieved here. Very busy at work and weekends crammed with family activities. Hoping to get some done this weekend

I'm hoping that at some point over the weekend I'll get some stitching done. I must get started on something for my friend who is expecting.... otherwise baby will be here and I won't even have threaded the needle!!

I think I shall be stitching the design I have in mind on cream aida - I did look at the patterned aida that sewandso have for sale but I didn't spot anything that looked suitable :(
what does everyone else have planned for today?

  • Was yesterday the first tome there were no posts in the cafe? Hope it is because everyone is enjoying the sunshine though I know it doesn't suit everyone

My stitching plan for the weekend is to finish the xs on my wedding ring pillow so that I can make it into the pillow next week. Wedding is August so no time to spare

Hope everyone manages some stitching time

    Hi everyone,

    Loving all the updates/pics.

Did some stitching last night - well I say stitching - I had to unpick the balustrade on the French flower shop as I had only stitched 102 half-cross stitches (with 5 strands of black) instead of 103 stitches, so the spacing was all wrong  I realised this the other day, so I unpicked it and restitched it, otherwise I would make everything else wrong.

Hoping to do a bit more tonight and you never know, I might (might) upload a pic - technophobe that I am :o

I am going away for a week in two weeks time, so have sorted a small project to take with me - thank you to whoever was talking about this. I was going to take !!!!!! (how appropriate!) with me, but a smaller project will be much more doable. It is a Christmas kit(!) but I've had it a while, so it will be good to get it done.

    Sorry for the ramble.

    Have a good evening everyone.
