I've read another by her http://www.amazon.co.uk/Universally-Challenged-Anna-Bell-ebook/dp/B008T6UC3C/ref=la_B0073IWWYO_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1392482631&sr=1-3 which was good, but I only paid 99p for it, so if that's of interest, maybe add to wish list and see if the price drops? Another book by her is free at the moment. Need more time in my days!!!
Yes I downloaded the free book and have my eye on the book you linked to plus the one due out in June.*Louise*, hope it is nothing too serious and that you're back home soon. Glad you managed to go and get your stitching, hubbys are not good at that sort of thing :rotfl:
Great finish chicky, I love Lets Cross Stitch there is a grandpa chair one, but you've probably seen it already.
Flat Eric, oh no sounds like the sort of thing I would do.
Storm damage is actually a funny story. Everytime its windy our fence falls down, we fix it then it falls down again and so on. When the really strong winds hit the other night I went to check on the fence. I said to my OH "I have good news and bad news. The good news is your fence is still standing, the bad news is the shed roof has come off!!!!!!":rotfl:
Hugs to Louise, glad you managed to escape home and get very essential supplies.
I had a rubbish night's sleep last night so have yet to feel human this morning. I hope you are managing to sleep ok Louise, there is always something going on in hospital and nothing beats your own bed. bet you will be very glad to get home and if they tell you to rest then make sure you follow orders !!
I doubt I'll be doing any housework today although I do plan to cook a bit of a curry feast for tea this evening (belated valentines meal)
With my lottery win, I've decided to treat myself to one of the emily button designs which are just so cute, I can't make up my mind between the cat and the mouse though. Hopefully this will help get my stitching bug back x. Have a lovely day all.0 -

Well done to those that have finished their pieces. Titanic looks fabulous!

Sunday Update:
I've been able to do quite a bit of stitching this week. It was craft morning at church yesterday, so I was able to finish the crosses to start and finish the back-stitching.

Haven't posted to this thread in a while, but here are two bits that I made over the past two days. Made them both for DH and I.
This one is in memory of our little boy that we lost at 20 weeks gestation on 26th January this year.0 -
Ruth_honey wrote: »Sending hugs, Louise. Hope they haven't stuck an IV in your arm which hinders the stitching. Get well soon.
I just have the canular in but I'm not hooked up to anything. It's in my arm not my hand though so it's not too bad for stitching :rotfl:

We are doing as well as we can with the circumstances. Today is the third good day in a row, so hopefully things are getting better, but I know that we will still have good and bad days. We are trying again though, so it's only a matter of time before we have a healthy little one.0 -
