Condolences and best wishes to everyone that needs them this morning. We certainly seem to be going through the mill lately
I started this one last night:

That is lovely EM, I love poppies and I think they lend themselves so well to cross stitch.
I finished my 'Overlook Cafe' on Friday night, never done lazy daisies before but am pleased with them and very proud of my french knots!!
Went through my very small stash (only five kits left to do ) on Saturday and decided on this one

morning all
tricksie that looks lovely cant wait to see your update photos
did some of tiger cubs greenery last night, ill be losing about 25 rows of stitching above and below him with it being the wrong way across the oblong so once ive finishedi think ill be able to make it square so it will fit the cushion idea better. hopefully once its on a cushion it will look meant to be rather than cropped off. we shall see.
have a good day everyone and i hope the weather is kind.SPC~12 ot 124

Erics mum, Jack looks adorable and I love the poppy design you've chosen.
Emily, I like all the designs you've chosen, however tatty ted has BABS (Bl**dy Awful BackStitch), can you cope with it??

My friend has said she will knit me a cushion if I find her a pattern. I don't mind the really plain ones. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I might find a free pattern. I don't know the first thing about knitting and she doesn't have access to the internet (how does she manage ). Any help will be greatly appreciated. You never know, I might even have a go myself :rotfl::rotfl:

family tree looks fantastic your DH has done a brilliant job with the framing.
will have a look for cushion patterns for you
ravelry have 1000's of free patterns and lots of lovely cushions, i think you have to register if you want to see the patterns yourself but its free and doesn't ask for personal details. if you dont want to join and cant see the patterns without joining tell me roughly what type of cushion you would like and ill look for you

most are free but some you have to buy.SPC~12 ot 124
