I have only ever found a couple that I have been able to sell at. I bag the cards though just in case something comes up- at least that way they are kept neat & ready to go. I would never get through all the ones I have for personal use.
Thank you SO much for sending the variegated threads, they arrived this afternoon so I hope to get back to my DMC at the weekend.
My pleasure. If you've got any other gaps let me know - I think I've got all their numbers apart from that new set mentioned earlier.0 -
I think it'll need to be a black from BEG. saw one with a mount and picture in for £2.25 in the charity shop earlier but typical me hadn't taken the sizes with me - could have screamed!

I thought I would pop on to say  and to give you all a giggle on this Saturday afternoon as I sure as hell not sharing this with the OH!
So before I give you a giggle, I thought I would mention that I've just finished reading Don't tell the Groom by Anna Bell, its a great read and I highly recommend it. it cost me just 56p from the kindle store so worth a punt.
Anyhow giggle time. So I discovered this afternoon that my sink has been leaking. Since my sink has leaked before, I do have most things in a couple of boxes but still there was plenty to be cleared out and mopping up to be done but nothing too bad. Anyhow detective eric tries to establish where the leak was coming from. I also endeavoured (without much success) to find something suitable to place under the sink to catch the drips.
Previously the problem has been with the overflow pipe so I moved/pushed that and lo and behold it shifted quite a lot andI thought problem was solved. Anyhow, lets test it..... (can you see where this is going........) so I fill a bowl of water and empty it and lo and behold instead of a few drips, I end up with water pouring through the bottom of the sink, into the cupboards and all over the kitchen floor.
Seemingly moving the overflow what not had shifted the pipe covering the bottom of the sink. I'm guessing the seal has lost its seal so instead of water going where it should, it went all over the cupboard and floor !!
So after a massive clean up operation, I'm now bemused at my efforts and the mess I made and vowing not to go near the sink again today ! Thankfully shifting the pipe back means the sink now works as it should. Time for a replacement I think !! (the tap also leaks !!)0 -

Love the Halloween stitch chickywiggle
Hope everyone has been ok after yet more storms, at least next week it looks like it's finally easing off. Got a knock on the door this morning. One of our neighbours brought a piece from the top of my bedroom window that had come off in the night and landed in his garden. Couple of tiles gone as well.
Stitching wise i have been working on the vintage sampler. Have done almost all of the word vintage in the middle - just have to finish the V and then start doing all the items before backstitching the lot.0 -

I've got that book in my wish list, so I think I'll order it as you enjoyed it. I've read another by her http://www.amazon.co.uk/Universally-Challenged-Anna-Bell-ebook/dp/B008T6UC3C/ref=la_B0073IWWYO_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1392482631&sr=1-3 which was good, but I only paid 99p for it, so if that's of interest, maybe add to wish list and see if the price drops? Another book by her is free at the moment. Need more time in my days!!!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

And you have bought the very same one!!!
That's a bit weird but great minds think alike!!!
