I'm so sorry PM, both for your dad and for your cat. Sending virtual hugs and hot chocolate your way (hot choc always makes me feel better) x0

pm So sorry you are feeling as you do. Christmas is such a difficult time for so many people because the impression is that everyone else is enjoying the "traditional" family Christmas whereas the reality is different. It's a time when losses such as those you have suffered recently seem to be magnified. Please keep popping back into the Cafe whether you are stitching or not.0

I popped into a new charity shop with some books and clothes and of course had to have a look around.
I spotted this and recognised it as a Framecraft pot designed for cross stitch. At just £2.50 I couldn't leave it behind and was even more delighted when I got it home and found that the fabric, threads and pattern to stitch the floral design shown were also included. Very pleased with my bargain find :j

You can't tell from the photo but it is the biggest size pot so is a useful piece as well as being decorative.0 -

fos the pot is lovely what a brilliant find.
Managed to make up the three Christmas cards I sewed a wee while ago. Needed a couple of spare cards to send out so made up all three I had.
Unfortunately I had already written and sealed one card when I thought about the photo's so only two of them to show you. The third was another reindeer.

Well I did intend to do some stitching last night but it didn't quite happen what with the weather being so poor and getting very wet on the way home - by the time I was sorted, tea cooked etc, it was time to catch up with the tunnel x 2 and then head up to bed to make up for the poor night's sleep the night before.
I hope everyone is staying warm and safe in this very wet and windy weather. We lost a bin lid yesterday :rotfl:but some of our other neighbours have fence panels that are dancing in the wind so we were lucky. I hope it calms down.0 -
Afternoon all,
Firstly I must apologise for my absence, I have been reading and enjoying all the updates you have been posting but lost my cross stitch mojo for a couple of weeks.
Going to restart my Kustom Krafts wolves cross stitch this afternoon so will post updates as soon as I have anything to show.
Hugs to all who need them and I promise I won't go AWOL again0
