Hi all
Glad the exchange pieces are going well.
Mags Cat just sent a join request for the Flickr group.
Tellmeitsfriday and Mrs Mp what a beautiful design I really like that one. May have to get that one for the inlaws for next year as mil loves robbins.
Mrs Ceejay the booksmarks are really cute and the peacock is stunning.
Ailsab Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he gets on okay with the doctors.
Sweetcarer the learning sampler with the eyelet is amazing. Congratulations on your wins. Particularly love the Celtic one its on a beautiful colour of fabric.
Nmm and BEG oh the snowman looks like he is jumping right off the page at you. It's lovely.
nmm - looks like you are nearly finished BD. It's so lifelike.
Flat Eric glad you liked it.0 -
Maisie - done your Flickr group thing
Did someone else also ask to join? Flickr name includes S and G and 2 numbers? I just don't recognise it as a name used in this group.0 -
I'm so annoyed. I've been on holiday today but I haven't really done anything other than go to the post office (to send my exchange piece on its way) :j plus pick up a few shopping bits. I've not been able to do any cross stitch as I am full of cold (and can't stop sneezing) and I seem to have lost my appetite - I've not really felt like doing anything today other than wander round the house like a zombie. what a waste.
I thought it best to cancel my hair appointment for tomorrow so that means my hair is unlikely to get cut now until after xmas*sulks*
go away cold.
I know in the grand scheme of things, my grumbles today are nothing and I don't mean to moan but a day off from work and not able to do any stitching = one unhappy me.0 -
Hi Mags_Cat
It was me who asked to join. Long time lurker and I do not post. I have been cross stitching for over 20 years and love seeing all your work. I have followed the thread since 2011 but I completely understand if you want to keep it a closed group

My apologies for dragging you out of lurk-dom!
I'm sure the rest of the cafe would be delighted to have you join, as long as you post some photos0 -
I spy the card I sent to Tricksie on the Flickr group, so pleased it arrived safely
Thank you for the lovely comments re BD, hes getting there but I have another row of pages on the bottom and 2 more on the row i'm on. So 6 in total roughly about 1 month per page unless I get Louise's stitching speed for Christmas :rotfl:
Flat_Eric, hope you feel better soon and can get your hair done before Christmas, nothing worse than bad hairCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0
