I'm loving the pictures of everyones exchange cards and decorations. They're all lovely.

mos - your dad's stocking is fab! He'll love it!

Coxy - that's a shame about the sale. Seems a bit odd that you were the only table in a different room!

Ailsb - lovely stocking. Sorry to hear your dad's not been well. Hope doctor could help him.

sweetcarer - I really love the twisted band sampler, it's really different and the Celtic Snow is beautiful - can't wait to see your progress pics of that one especially. Your summer sampler is lovely too, I really like the colours. It seems to be the samplers that I lean towards when browsing the xs websites. I've only done one very small one but think I need to treat myself to a bigger one in the new year . Your learning sampler is fab and its really interesting seeing all the different stitches. One of the free gifts with this month's WOXS is a chart for a tag which uses a few of the 'different' stitches. Who knew there was so many versions of a xs, lol!!

b_e_g - I agree, Mrs Milkybar has done some really lovely pieces. It's so inspiring browsing all the pics on flickr.

emslovesmickey - I feel a bit the same way about the xmas exchange, but you're right, if we keep at it we will be professionals by next year lol! Your pirate ship is fab, you should be very proud (and if you can do that you have no need to worry about the xmas exchange lol;))!

mrs moneypenny - lovely card, really unusual colours for xmas but it works and your neice's decoration is lovely too.

kezbabybabe - looking forward to seeing your pics

I got quite a bit of the Sue Hillis snowman done at the weekend, just the wording and the backstitch to so now. Will hopefully get some done tonight and be able to post a pic of the finished item by the end of the week.

As for me, I've been getting on with the blackwork sampler, whilst watching IACGMOOH. No pics yet - was Christmas shopping today and its too dark now to get a decent pic. Will try tomorrow.

Off to take DS1 to rugby now - rather him than me :rotfl:

ems - what do you mean. I've just spotted your pirate ship and it looks fantastic. Don't be afraid of joining in on the exchange - we all know the work that is involved even in simple pieces. Go on give it a go next time.

Mrs. MP - thank you for our Nativity card. It reminds me of the Nativity picture that I am doing. Have left a little bit to finish for 11.12.13 - knowing me I will probably forget about it. . Neice's little decoration looks so cute.

Flat Eric and Maisie - lovely work. I seem to have developed a bit of a soft spot for snowmen and reindeers myself this year.
