Evening everyone,
I'm sorry I don't have time now to comment on individual posts - will catch up tomorrow after work.
Just wanted to confirm that I've posted my exchange piece 1st class but only this afternoon after the last pick up, due to being at the church fayre til 1.30pm. Sorry to the recipient but I think we are looking at Tuesday delivery
Not a great time had at the fayre - we were stuck in a room with a bouncy castle whilst all other sale tables were in the concourse or the church itself. Lots of cards and bookmarks left:(:( The fayre organiser used to run the guides so a case of sour grapes I think. Ended up with a migraine but luckily it has gone now.
Just wanted to mention that Tosco are collecting for local food banks this weekend if you are able to pop in to make a donation. Sorry off topic I know
Working tomorrow at my Christmas job - stock person at that well known chemiston fragrance, so busy busy busy!!!
Have a great evening all

I'm really pleased with how it's turned out although it isn't very big.
Here's the picture of the stocking I've finished for my great Nephew. I actually started it before my son was born, so 15 years ago. I stitched about 50 stitches and put it away.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

tmif The brightons picture looks lovely can't wait to see your wip pics.
Coxy11 - that's a bit mean of the organiser especially when she used to be the leader as she will know even better than most how much the guides need financial support!!!
Ailsb that stocking is beautiful. I'm sure your great nephew will be really pleased with it.
Well had a good day in Glasgow yesterday, bit of shopping (boys gifts to each other) and then off to the science museum. Fish and chips for tea which is a rare treat and really scrummy - yum yum yum
Today plans are parents coming down to see the boys (and me!) then I will have to do food shopping, then some housework and finally stitchy time whilst watching the strictly results.
Have a nice day all.0 -
Yesterday was a busy day - I did some Christmas shopping - somehow managing to buy me an early xmas present of a new toothbrush?! got the b8n8fit stuff my sister wants (cost me a fortune!) then off for a late lunch with family then a visit to the local garden centre (lots of jaw dropping at the cost of the xmas decorations) then home for a quick tea (stir fry) then down the pub with friends / home after midnight. No hangover as stuck to (flat!) diet coke.
So no stitching managed yesterday but hopefully I'll fit some in today. Need to make up my exchange project and get it ready for posting tomorrow :j note to self, must remember to take picture!

Just popped in to be nosy whilst having a cuppa, bout to do washing up then all housework done so stitching time is nigh :T:T
I would love to join in flat eric but I've been looking at finances and I have a loan that finishes in december, another finishes in Feb and then overdraft should be paid in June, then all this will be paid towards another debt, so I decided to start rounding bank account and pay pennies off my credit card.
Maybe in 2015 I'll be able to join in the virtual savings for a change0 -
